This is my sweet friend Carolanne. She purchased this church painting with the funds from a private donor. To her it signifies how the church (the body of Christ) has been there to help and support her during her tough fight with breast cancer. Carolanne has been brave, strong, gracious, and faithful during a very difficult time in her life. I am praising God for her healing!

P.S. I am so happy this piece went to her. This is my memory of the little country church where I was saved as a 10 year old girl.

Becky Witting is a Las Vegas based mixed media artist at Divine Impressions. Becky has painted a special piece just for this event! "Hope Bounds" was inspired by Becky's personal fight with cancer. During treatment, Becky experienced many severe side effects, including debilitating pain, at which point she felt herself go to a very private place where she was met by God, giving her hope and peace. In addition to this inner peace, Becky was also encouraged by the amazing kind acts of many friends, family and even strangers. Through this time, Becky was able to see the goodness in people and their ability for great compassion.

Becky hopes the person who takes "Hope Bounds" home will be encouraged and find the peace and hope she found which she shares in her art.

This mixed media painting is called "Hope Abounds". It is up for auction at the Las Vegas Fall Art Event and Auction. I will display my works to benefit the American Cancer Society Action Network. The event is on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 at The Caring Place, 3711 Sunset Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120.

I feel so blessed that the ACSCSN is using this piece as a promotion for the event. Hope to see you there!
