❤️❤️Balck Mountain Stake Delivers❤️❤️

Black Mountain Stake Relief Society came out In force!

Prepared over 200 care packages with hygiene and food items, and overwhelmed St Timothy’s. We were told the offerings would bring blessings to those in need for the next month!

Thank you to everyone who donated or put forth efforts to make this community drive an overwhelming success!!

Please join us this coming Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 8am, for breakfast and packing of the bags for the homeless at St. Timothy’s.

Breakfast is being put on by Bro. Blaisdell and his crew, and will surely be amazing.

After that we will pack bags with the donations we have collected, one hygiene and one food. If you have donations, please bring them Saturday morning or get them to a member of your Relief Society Presidency in your ward and we will get them to the event on Saturday.

Items to be collected…
Acacia- Shavers, Deodorant, Trail mix
Black Mountain- Wet Wipes, Single Serve Tuna Packets
Desert Rose- Pocket Mirrors, Bar Soap, Cheese & Crackers Packets Horizon Ridge- Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Fruit Cups
Palm Hills- Sunscreen, Body Lotion, Granola Bars
South Valley Ranch- Q-tips, Combs/Brushes, Cup-O-Noodles
Wells Park- Shampoo, Conditioner, Fruitsnacks

All Wards: Jerky/ Slim Jims, if you can donate this item it is greatly appreciated, as it is a more costly item.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our hearts are so full of gratitude for the amazing and humbling experience during the stake food drive. We are grateful to all of you for the countless food donations, money, time, and help we received to setup, organize, package, and distribute the food donations. We were able to make over 62 boxes/bags for families in our stake, members and non-members, and we still have food left for a local charity.

We are so excited 🥳about the Food Drive this Saturday, May 30th. Please remember...

Drop food off at the Stake Center
(400 s Water St.) 8-1pm

If you can not drop off we can schedule a pick up for Saturday 8-11am 🚗

If you will be out of town over the weekend or need food picked up before Saturday call me, text me, or message me on messenger we will come before Saturday no problem. 😃

We know many are struggling, so if you can only give one can of soup 🍜 it’s ok, everything helps.

Please get the word out, let the sisters that you minister know about this ... 📱☎️📝
Not everyone looks at emails or Facebook.

Also, if you know someone in need member or non member, that we might not have on our radar, please let us know. 😃

Hi everyone, I’ve heard that some have had issues opening the Stake Food Drive flyer...I’m sorry!! I hope this helps!!

And please please remember to share this so that we can help as many families possible within our stake boundaries, and what is left for the community food banks.

If you plan on making a monetary donation, you can do that on your tithing slip or online, be sure to list it in the OTHER category, and write in “BLACK MOUNTAIN STAKE FOOD DRIVE”. We would like to have those donations by Friday, May 22nd to be able to have food items ready for the following weekend.

If you can drop off your donations on May 30th at the church between 8-1pm GREAT!! If not call 702-469-2804 to schedule pick up of your donations on May 30th 8-11am! 😃😃
