Aloha everyone! Greetings to everyone in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
This holiday season is definitely different than what we have experienced in recent history. Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, some of us have (including yours truly) have made the decision to spend the holidays alone instead of being united with the family. And in some cases, because they have either become contacts or positive cases themselves, they wouldn't be able to travel at all. Because the holidays is what most of us look forward to for the entire year, this is a pretty devastating blow. Please know that you are not alone in this. We are with you in that boat. I pray that even in the midst of solitude, you will find ways to make the best of an unfortunate situation and find strength in God.
I know that we have been silent in terms of social media presence and engagement. For that, we apologize. For this next season and in the next phase of what we tenderly and lovingly refer to as Operation Nehemiah, we are taking a prayerful approach to what the next steps are in rebuilding that church that God wants us to rebuild. That does mean less time on here and more time in prayer.
Please know that doesn't mean that any and all programs, including our Great Santa Run and God Bless Nevada are neglected. They are still active (Great Santa Run ends on the 26th of this month), and we are still open to any and all families in the silver state that is in need of assistance, especially in this season.
In the meantime, I pray that we all have a safe and Merry Christmas, and that 2021 will be the year of restoration and prosperity for all of us to enjoy.
Love you with the love of the Lord!
Sincerely,
Pastora Diana
