The Holy Spirit Retreat Center is available to individuals and groups who seek to retreat from the daily grind and into the rhythms of monastic life. ✨ Feast of the Presentation of the Lord / Day of Religious Life ✨

On this Feast of the Presentation of the Lord — which also celebrates the gift of consecrated life — we pause to look at Christ, offered to the Father, a light for all peoples. 🕯️

In the same way, consecrated life is a a permanent reminder to all Christian people of the importance of the total gift of self to God.

May everyone called to this path continue to be gentle signs of hope, prayer, and self-giving for the Church and the world. 🙏✝️

🌟 Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 🌟

Mary, taken up into heaven, has not laid aside her care for us. By her constant intercession and maternal love, she leads us to the joy of our true home. (cf. Lumen Gentium, 62)

Today we celebrate Mary, assumed body and soul into heaven — a sign of hope and a promise of what awaits all who belong to Christ. Her Assumption is not only her glory, but also our comfort.

✨ Feast of the Transfiguration ✨

The Transfiguration is a turning point in the life of Christ and His disciples. On Mount Tabor, Jesus reveals His divine glory — preparing their hearts for the scandal of the Cross and offering a foretaste of the Resurrection.

Those called to the consecrated life experience this light in a particular way. Their vocation becomes a prophetic sign to the world, echoing Peter’s words: “Lord, it is good for us to be here.”

To be with Christ, to make Him the center of everything — this is the joy and beauty of consecrated life. In His radiance, we glimpse the One who is “the fairest of the sons of men” (Ps 45:2).
