Good Morning ATM Followers - I will never forget the smile on the face of my Homeroom teacher. Her smile helped me relax and gave me confidence that I could do well in her class. There was a waitress at a restaurant I us to frequent - she always greeted me with a smile. Her smile made me feel welcomed, like a valued customer. How often do you smile? Smiling actually has the power to change your attitude. That’s right! Numerous recent studies have concluded that smiling releases neuropeptides: tiny molecules that allow neurons to connect and communicate with each other. The neuropeptides tell your body to release endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine — filling your body with feel-good vibes. Smiling literally makes you feel better. So when you smile because of your hope and faith in God, joy will follow. Studies also indicate that habitual smiling helps build stronger relationships, makes you more desirable as an employee, and improves your chances of success. Most importantly, though, when you smile, people see Jesus in you. When you smile because Jesus is the source of joy, comfort, and direction in your life, life will be good no matter what is going on around you. Stay Blessed & Stay in His Word.

Good Morning ATM Followers - When this prophecy in Jeremiah is given, Jerusalem is a mess. Their king is overtaken. Their temple is demolished. Even the shepherds don’t have pasture for their sheep. The people of Israel were living in sin, so God allowed the Babylonians to overtake them. They suffered a holy spanking of sorts, a heavy-handed time-out. But then, in Jeremiah 33, which contains today’s verse, God reminds His people that He has a loving plan for them. He will bring back peace. He will forgive them. He will return them back to a restored land. We all go through times when our lives feel ransacked, when sin has opened the door for chaos. Thank God, He is bigger than our biggest mess! He can restore what has been taken away. If we repent, if we turn away from pursuing wrong, God will sweep us back into His protective care. Yes, we can look forward to the eventual peace of heaven, but we don’t have to wait that long. God can restore us now, too. Has sin stormed into your life? Dig out this hope — God has a loving plan. Put yourself back in it! Stay Blessed & Stay in His Word.

Good Morning ATM Followers- I was 7 years old when I first went forward to confess my faith and be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of my sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. But that decision was my Grandmother’s - I was 14 years old when I made that decision for myself. Having been brought up in the Church, I knew the reasons for and meaning of baptism. But one morning at service it became personal. The preacher’s message that night was not your typical sermon. It spoke to me in a way no sermon ever spoke to me before. It spoke to eternity with Jesus; the sacrifice that was made so that I would not be lost in sin. I knew right then I didn’t want to be lost anymore, either. I realized how personal our relationship with Jesus is and I wanted that more than anything. I still do. I pray you do, as well.Stay Blessed & Stay in His Word.

Good Morning ATM Followers- When someone says, “Don’t take this personally, but…” they usually start to critique something about your behavior. Sometimes the criticism stings. But, if it’s valid, in order to make the correction, you probably should take it personally, since addressing it and making an effort to change will affect who you are as a person. When God says something, we should take it personally. But, mostly, we should take God personally. Christians too often approach God less as a person and more like an administrative office, checking to see that we’re following rules before fulfilling various requests. But Scripture paints a portrait of a deeply personal God who seeks us in the most personal ways imaginable. In today’s verse, the prophet Isaiah says that God is even more nurturing, more full of personal compassion than a nursing mother. So, our chief pursuit in life shouldn’t be getting what we want, it should be seeking God personally, directly, intimately. He is to be our first and our last thought. Our trust in His care should be as natural as breathing. The Lord has promised that He will never forget you. You are His beloved child. Take God personally: He always keeps His promises.
