Good Morning ATM Followers - Not all brown sugar is created equal. Sometimes it masquerades as the real thing when it is, in fact, fake. Brown sugar gets its color from the presence of molasses coating the sugar crystals. The more molasses, the darker the sugar. Refined sugar is white because all of the natural molasses has been removed from it, leaving only the crystals behind.
Real brown sugar is moist. It packs smoothly. It holds its shape beautifully. Because of minimal processing, brown sugar should be closer to its source than the highly processed white sugar. However, this isn’t always the case. Sometimes, once the molasses has already been stripped from the sugar, the manufacturer will put the two together again. The result is a grainy concoction that melts differently and certainly tastes different than the real thing. How can you tell what you’ve got without tasting or touching it? If you look at the ingredients of a bag, the real stuff says “brown sugar.” The other lists “sugar” and “molasses” separately. The real thing never lies. Likewise, real Christians who are closest to their Source are saturated by God. They are quite different from those who only color themselves with Christianity when it suits them. When you truly believe God exists, there is no reason to separate yourself from Him. As you seek Him with all your heart, He will saturate your life, rewarding you beyond your wildest dreams.
