God’s Listening Bench

God made a beautiful Listening Bench and welcomed me to sit and open my heart completely to Him.
He invited me to lay it all down—
my joys,
my sorrows,
my grief and pain,
my highs and lows,
my valley seasons
and mountaintop experiences.
He listened without judgment.
No condemnation.
Just love.
There was warmth in His presence,
understanding in His silence,
and a deep sense of true belonging
that wrapped around me like a gentle embrace.
He allowed me to simply be myself—
and that was all I needed.
A soft blanket lay across the bench,
gently reminding me that I was cared for,
covered,
and safe in His presence.
Sitting on the bench,
I felt truly seen.
Truly heard.
Truly known.
Those precious, sacred moments
began to heal my heart.
I will return to our bench often,
for there I find the Great Listener—
the One who always welcomes me,
always makes room for me,
and always listens with love.

Hello all! We are so excited to announce our 1st ever Community DEAF Health Day. This is a full day of FREE Health Screenings, FREE Workshops, FREE Medical, Dental and Mental Health Consultations, FREE Massage, FREE Raffles and so much more.

We are partnering with Bethesda Medical Mission, Three Angels Deaf Ministries and the Health Minstries of Southern New England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to bring you this all DEAF-led event with ASL interpreters for all medical screenings and consultations.

Meet with all the doctors, nurses, dentists, mental health professionals, in American Sign Language as they provide free health care screenings and servicees to our Deaf community.

WHEN: Saturday, June 6th — 10am - 4pm
WHERE: World Deaf Expo in the Connecticut Convention Center
