What a fun day with my beautiful illustrators all in California! 🌴☀️🌊💙 ( we missed you!) A BIG thank you to all those who came, talked with us, and shared this precious moment with us! Whether you spontaneously walked in or knew about this children’s book already, it was my pleasure meeting you all. As always, my prayer for you is that you be encouraged and grow in the Lord from these powerful stores of courageous and faithful women who put their trust in God. The center of every story in this book is ONE: Jesus. A young gal, as she got her signed copy, said, “this is really inspiring!” 😭🙏🏼 This is why.. this is why!

Something very crazy happened today. A girl and her parents came in as my patient. As the mom was sharing reasons for her visit, she later stopped and went “wait, are you THE AMY? The book Amy?!” Long story short, she was that kind stranger who saw my Kickstarter campaign on FB back in March & reached out to this nobody who just had written a children’s book … God’s favor was upon me. Right then, she was a megaphone, promoting my book to anywhere and everywhere she could!! 📣 How funny, random, crazy and great that we got to meet this way!!
And LOL, now my preceptors think I’m famous…. 😅😝😂🤪🤣

unplanned book-signing (?) at our 7th annual MPAK Gala this past Saturday! 🌟 Out of 10 copies of If She Can, You Can! donated to 8 copies were listed as silent auction items at this event. Not only they were sold out, but actually over sold! Although my contribution was small compared to other hot auction items bid at thousands of dollars, my heart is full and I am humbled and honored to have been a part of this great cause that is so dear to my heart.

“You are Not Forgotten” was this year’s theme & the purpose was to remember and support the special needs orphans (with physical/mental challenges, “aged-out” orphans, with HIV) and those that were born from North Korean escapee women living in China. Despite the significant challenges that COVID brought upon us, God stirred the hearts of many this evening to cheerfully and willingly give and we raised over $250,000!!! (Our goal was $150,000.) What can we say, but Praise God!

None of our board members gets paid. The entire donation generated purely and directly goes to help individual orphaned children. As the Founder/Director of MPAK said, “This is all possible because of our dependence on God and His abundant blessings, and because of your hard work and commitment and willing spirit.” 🤍

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
    and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
    I will not forget you!” (Isaiah 49:15)

“Your book is now going to Far East Russia with my Russian girls! J is 12 years old, E is 8 years old. They moved to Khabarovsk, Russia three years ago with their parents. They love your book and look forward to sharing it with their friends, when they get back in September.”

I received this lovely message from a faithful ambassador friend. Throughout the publishing process, I prayed that the Word of God will reach to the ends of the earth through this book. Beyond UK 🇬🇧, Philippines 🇵🇭, and Australia 🇦🇺, now my book has arrived in Russia 🇷🇺 !! It is my greatest joy to witness the hand of God mightly and actively working through people in our obedience out of pure love for Him. Praying for the T Family today. May they be the salt and light for Jesus in their land! Lord, may you strengthen these girls’ faith to boldly share the gospel and open the hearts of their friends to know You and desire You more! In Jesus’ Name, Amen 🙏🏼

🎄🎶 Christmas concert last Sunday was awesome!!! Thank you to all who came, I hope it’s keeping your spirit merry and bright! I had so much fun playing!! 🎹🎻 Going back and forth between two instruments (plus the book signing afterwards), I had to hold tight my brain from splitting haha 🧠🤯 All the love and support for my book was also overwhelming… Thank you, thank you!!

Then I thought… all around I feel like the Christmas spirit gets harder to spot each year. I see less Christmas trees, less lights, less “Merry Christmas!”, less red and green sweaters at the mall, less cheer and less of that “something special” (called Hope) bit by bit. I know Christmas is not about the warm fuzzy feelings, but I believe our emotions take a big part in keeping the spirit merry and bright from knowing the truth, celebrating the humble birth of Jesus, being in total awe of His humility and the perfect fulfillment of the prophecy in the Old Testament, and most importantly, for the coming of our Lord Jesus. Therefore, in this Hope, we choose to rejoice. We can rejoice.

Wherever you are, I pray that this Christmas season will bring you joy, healing, and holy anticipation. Trust in His Name. 🌟🎄❤️ ✨

“Amy— my grandpa saw the book in my parents’ house and he read every word 🙂 he just became a Christian a year or two ago. He really enjoyed it and built this birdhouse and painted it inspired by your book!”

Praise God! “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:10)

I’m so grateful that this book is touching the hearts of young AND old. Certainly, the word of God and the stories of His people are not bound by any worldly conditions or time. What’s your story?

Hi everyone! Welcome to this page for my first children's book, If She Can, You Can!! This first female-centric Bible picture book about 16 women from the Bible, highlighting their stories of faith and courage in the Lord. It was a true labor of love!
