It wasn't till I was about 14 years old when I went to a small store front church where I finally felt for the first time the presence of God. I didn't know it then, but this was the beginning of a journey that would t
ake me to a place were I would never be the same. No one ever told me growing up that I was the church, and that I didn't have to beg God to show up. No one ever explained to me that Jesus is not just the narrow way but He is the destination. I was told that God is looking for a bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish. I was never told because of Jesus I was now the bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish. I’m not a world renowned theologian, I have not been through years of seminary, However I have something going for me that many do not… I’m never scared to ask questions of what I believe. If what I’m standing on is a solid foundation then it will stand. I have been a Pastor of Living Tabernacle Church in Lakeport California for 15 years now. And what's most amazing, is that God has me on a journey discovering His goodness and who I am in Christ and I’d love for you to join me! There has been a lot of teaching that we have accepted that has been handed down to us. And it is time that we study to show ourselves approved unto God, and be like the Bereans and study it out for ourselves. My heart is to get you to think for yourself, challenge everything you’ve ever been taught, driving you to a conversation with God, a study of the Scriptures to find out if any of your beliefs need to change.
