We meet every Tuesday evening for a Bible Study in Lake Mary. Everyone is on a journey and Jesus is the key to staying sane. Life seems to tear at us all and in the midst of it we need to stay focused on the Hope, Healing and Renewal that only God can provide. We believe we are the hands and feet of God. The last few days have been horrific. We have seen the consequences of hate, we have had emotions tugged, feelings fanned and millions have opinions. We have seen how far some are willing to go and we all are witnesses of the power of Satan when he gains a foothold in a life. However, as I ponder and pray about this tragedy I find myself asking, “if Jesus was talking to us, what would He have us to do?” Could it be that Jesus would pray the prayer on the cross? A prayer forgiving? Ultimately, God judges and we pray. We are to be lights in a world of darkness. What if we lead people into becoming who we should be rather than hate anyone? Can we model Jesus even in times like these? The young man will experience consequences for his actions but can you and I seek to make this world a better place? Can we be the hands and feet of Christ? My prayer for everyone would be that every word out of our mouth’s seeks to bring people closer to Jesus. We are His ambassadors. What do you say? Let us be like Jesus!
