We recently hosted a farewell luncheon during Sunday School to honor Rose Shannon, a devoted and long-standing member of our congregation who has made significant contributions to the growth and development of our community's youth. Her selfless dedication as a Sunday School teacher and Youth Group Leader for over 20 years has been a source of inspiration to many. Additionally, her leadership as the VBS director has been deeply appreciated by the community. While her decision to relocate closer to her family was a difficult one, we understand and support her choice. We are committed to maintaining our connection with Rose and ensuring she remains a cherished member of the Springhill Furnace Presbyterian family. As a testament to our love and appreciation, we presented her with a framed picture of the church and a handmade quilt crafted by Sandy Morris. We are confident that she will continue to excel and make a positive impact in her new endeavors. We love you, Rose Shannon.

Doreen Myers and some of our youth (Sammy, James and Cole) participated in the Springhill township Trunk or Treat at ACC. Great to see the community come together and do something fun for kids.
