Homeward Bound.
Each person will spend time on earth and then in heaven or hell. Each person will move once they leave earth. What one does with Jesus Christ while they are living on this earth will determine where they spend eternity. Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and you move to heaven once you leave here. To enter hell you have to do absolutely nothing.
"And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15
"And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." 1 John 5:11-12
The earth we now see is not the way God created it. All was in perfect harmony. The problem is that the Devil, our adversary was here also. He tempted Eve to disobey God's command to "not eat" of the fruit of a certain tree. She and Adam chose, with their free will God allowed them to have, to disobey God, and things went downhill from there. Satan, now called the prince of this world goes around causing destruction and havoc. His desire is to fill up hell. The suffering, chaos, pain, division, anger, hate is all caused by man's rebellion against God and His word and we all suffer the consequences, believer or not.
The good news is that this world is not our permanent home. We believers have a beautiful home awaiting us; the word paradise can't even explain it. We all go through hurt, trials, tribulations, trouble and what Paul called, "a thorn in the flesh." We would like to get rid of those thorns and at times we would even like to trade thorns with someone else. However, it wouldn't be any better because you would still be on this earth (your temporary dwelling place.) If you feel out of place here - good, because you are not home. The blood of Jesus Christ runs through your veins and you will never fit in here, you will long to be with Him forever, and you will be. Don't get discouraged or focus on the good the bad or the evil. Share the good news of an everlasting life in heaven with God. We don't believe in a fairy tale, we have the truth. Each day may not get better for us here, and actually things may get worse, but we are one day closer to eternal bliss.
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth." Colossians 3:1-2 Don't let your mind wander or focus on self.
"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ." Philippians 3:20
"You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forever more.." Psalm 16:11
""For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Romans 8:18
"And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."" Revelation 21:3-5
I pray that God ministers to all who read this text.
