We had a blessed Palm Sunday, in which we commemorated Christ's Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. Though it was indeed a celebration of the King, we were also reminded that "his crown was a crown of thorns, and his throne a cross."

“This Jesus… you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.” (Acts 2:23-24)

Holy Week is coming! Mark your calendars and plan to join us as we remember and commemorate the final week of Christ’s life leading up to his glorious resurrection.

"Almighty and everlasting God, you hate nothing you have made, and you forgive the sins of all who are penitent: Create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, may obtain of you, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."
