Spent an hour, or so, preaching in the central park of Mixco, Guatemala, in the shadows of a huge catholic cathedral. Carlos Mazariegos and I proclaimed justification by faith alone in Christ alone, by the grace of God alone, according to the Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.
So much religiosity, man-made rules and personally effort permeating the Latin American culture. Truly sad. No one knows if they've done enough to be right with God.
Then a conference on evangelism with about 15 women of a Baptist Woman's Auxiliary. Such a precious group of ladies, who were so grateful to be equipped and motivated to be obedient to the Great Commission.
Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray, for strength, boldness, protection, and that many would come to a saving knowledge of Christ and be reconciled to God.
