A year ago today (April 13, 2025), we had our first worship service in the new building. We are so thankful to the Lord, to all those who gave, and to the many hands that helped complete this project. May the Lord use this place to bless many!

Spiritual guides abound these days but not spiritual fathers or mothers. What’s the difference, and why does it matter? We will consider Paul’s explanation in 1 Corinthians 4:14-21 of his statement: “For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers…” (v. 15a). See you Sunday!

If you had been a disciple of Jesus, what would you do after the brutal ex*****on of your beloved teacher and friend? On Saturday, the Sabbath, the day of rest, the day after the crucifixion, the disciples waited. They wondered. Was this the end of the story? But God was on the move: “Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!” (Psalm 37:7). “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10).
