Community of Christ, Knoxville We proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace.

We are a local congregation of the Community of Christ, headquartered in Independence, Missouri. We were founded in this area in Oak Ridge in the middle 1960’s and moved from Oak Ridge to Knoxville in 2000. We sold our Knoxville building just before the COVID pandemic hit and have been meeting online on Zoom. We hope to transition from a building-based ministry to a house church-based ministry when that becomes safe. Our local mission is to worship our Heavenly Father through regular worship, to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by reaching out to meet the needs of those persons around us, and to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us as we journey with Christ in our daily lives.
