Hey team!
Allow me a moment to thank you all for taking the time from your busy weekends (and in the face of tornadoes!) to come out for the Mid-Year Bible Fellowship Training. We had an absolutely great time! It was a real blessing for me to hear again from the wisdom and experience of my good friend, Rich Paradis, and so many of you have told me that you received a similar blessing. So many great reminders about Why and How we do Bible Fellowship!
Also, I want to thank Lynn and Nancy Cassidy for their tireless work for BF at Chilhowee Hills, and for this event in particular. They helped a great deal with set-up and clean-up, as well as in preparing for the event and providing some of the breakfast food. In addition, a big thanks goes out to Bethany Gentry for her hard work in getting ready for the weekend. (On a side note, when we ran a little short on childcare, Bethany, Brian, and Averee stepped in to provide that for us, as well). These families truly have hearts for serving the Lord! The next time you see them, take a moment to thank them for all that they do.
At the Saturday session, I provided you with some information about resources that might help you. If you are interested in obtaining any of those booklets or other helps, you can get them free of charge at lifeway.com. However, if you need our assistance, or if you need us to get them for you, just let me know as soon as possible.
For those of you who were not able to attend the Saturday session for Adult teachers, we recorded it and will have it available later this week. You can listen to Pastor Rich’s training just as you do the podcasts. Hopefully it will be a blessing for you, as it was for those who were in attendance.
Finally, let me just say that you are the most amazing team to work with, and I consider it my high privilege to serve alongside you in Bible Fellowship. As you witnessed yesterday, God is up to some amazing things at CHBC, and BF plays a huge role in assimilating people, discipling them, and ministering to them. Let’s keep going strong!
Thanks again!
Chuck Morris, Ph.D.
