A Let's Do . . . trip to Clayton's Appalachia Modular Building Plant where they manufacture 8 homes per day. We also celebrate Jeff Kirk's 34 years with Clayton and his recent retirement.

The MOBC Operation Christmas Child team of 33 went to the OCC Distribution Center in Acworth. GA and were indeed "blessed". The shoeboxes of the day were going to Burkina Faso (West Africa) and the Republic of the Congo (central Africa). 700 volunteers were on had to process the more than 40,000 boxes by the time we left. (By the time the Acworth Center finishes its work, they expect 1.3 million shoe boxes to be processed there.) What a blessing!!!! Thank you Mount Olive for allowing us to serve!! (Especially touching were the 2 personal notes in the shoe box lids of picture 3 & 4.)

Let's Do MOBC traveled to the Smoky Mtns. yesterday, a trip many of us hadn't made in years. Lunch afterwards was at Holston's Sevierville.

Can you say "a high flying" experience - Cirrus Aircraft. Today, the MOBC Let's Do gained a a glimpse into the world of privately owned aircraft. Rob Spicer, MOBC member and Cirrus Aircraft employee, gave us on a tour of Cirrus Aircraft The one word that best describes the tour is WOW!!!! Plus lunch at Hot Rod's Dinner. What a fun & insightful day.

Let's Do went Christmas Caroling (hay ride style) into South Pointe Subdivision. Sometime the simplest ideas are so much FUN!!! This one was enjoyed by the carolers as well as the South Pointe neighbors regardless of whether they were MOBC member or new friends. The last stopped was hosted by Angie and Eddie Bush's home. On a cold night a warm house, cocoa, hot apple cider and special cookies - can you say YUM!!! YUM!!! So blessed!!!!

What a phenomenal blessing it has been to be on the Mission Team from Mount Olive to go to Samaritan's Purse (Operation Christmas Child) Processing Center in Kennesaw, Ga. The MOBC Team was on hand when the Kennesaw Center surpassed the 1 million shoebox crescendo for 2023. While we were there, shoeboxes were being packed for Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad & the Ivory Coast. Approximately 500-700 OCC volunteers were involved sorting and processing shoeboxes. Prayerfully considering going next year? It is a blessing beyond anything you can imagine.
