Bro. Breece Hayes sent out a message to all of our youth this afternoon letting you guys know that The Crest will meet again tonight at 6:45PM for games and fellowship!

For various reasons (proms, graduations, vacations, cancelations for holidays), we’ve not met for the last several weeks. But The Crest WILL MEET TONIGHT!!! 🎉 ⛪️ 🙌

Tonight we discussed our first page (of several and more to be added) on “How We Got the Bible.” This first night served as a sort of overview, giving general points on Scripture and its importance. I asked our youth the following question: Why is it that every time you come to church - whether for Sunday School, Wednesday night events, or service - we are always preaching and teaching from this one book? Why don’t we shake things up? Why is everything we do and believe based on this one book?

The answer: 1) It’s God’s Word, and God is trustworthy; 2) God has breathed it out, and when God speaks He does so with authority; 3) It is the power unto salvation, saving many before us and in position to save many more among and after us.

We love our youth at Creston Baptist Church! We’re excited to see what the Lord does with this teaching series.
