This year, once again, Kirkland Mayor Kelly Curtis has proclaimed the month of May as Jewish Heritage Month in Kirkland, recognizing the contributions, culture, heritage, faith, and enduring impact of the Jewish community.
As the local Jewish community, we are grateful to live in a city where we feel welcomed, valued, and embraced. We deeply appreciate the freedom to practice our faith, raise Jewish children, celebrate, share and contribute to the rich cultural fabric that makes Kirkland such a vibrant and diverse community.
The Jewish community is proud to support numerous local causes, organizations, and charitable initiatives, and to play an active role in strengthening the civic, cultural, and philanthropic life of our city. We are sincerely thankful for this recognition and for the City's continued commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all residents.
Thank you, Mayor Kelly Curtis, and the City of Kirkland, for your ongoing support and partnership.
