Kingdom Life Church of Central Texas is a church that was launched in the heart of our lead pastor, Charles Reid, Jr., several years ago, while serving as musician and worship pastor to the churches that he has served. God has now opened the opportunity to now serve our Greater Killeen area by having another place of worship that focuses on the Kingdom of God - His righteousness, peace, and joy in

the Holy Ghost. We believe that His kingdom is being established in the heart of His people. With there being over 80,000 souls in this area that don't know God, we realize that there is work to do. Come, and know that you have been encouraged and filled with the power of God!

Getting Close Enough to See Differently
Reading: Psalm 73:16-28; Romans 8:28

Devotional: Asaph's perspective did not change because his enemies lost their prosperity. It changed because he changed his location. He moved from the place of comparison into the sanctuary of God, and from that vantage point, everything looked different. Romans 8:28 assures us that God is working all things together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. That promise does not mean every individual event is good. It means God is sovereign over the entire sequence. When you get close enough to God, you begin to see not just the moment you are standing in but the larger movement he is orchestrating. Worship shifts your altitude.

Reflection: How regularly are you entering God's presence not just to make requests but to gain perspective?

Practical Application: Before reading the news or checking your phone tomorrow morning, spend the first ten minutes in worship. Play one song, read one psalm, and ask God to let you see your day through his eyes before the noise of the world frames it for you.

Remember that your earthly boss isn't your ultimate boss. God is. As believers, we do everything to glorify Him.

Trust Beyond What Makes Sense
Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6; Isaiah 55:8-9

Devotional: Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs believers to trust God completely and resist the pull of their own reasoning, promising that he will direct their paths when they acknowledge him in all things. Isaiah 55:8-9 reinforces this by reminding us that God's thoughts and ways exist at a level far above our own, as much higher as the heavens are above the earth. These are not merely poetic ideas. They are practical warnings against the very human tendency to Google our way out of situations that require faith. Every time we engineer our own solution rather than waiting on God, we are quietly telling him that our understanding is sufficient. It is not.

Reflection: In what area of your life are you leaning most heavily on your own understanding rather than trusting God's direction?

Practical Application: Identify one decision you have been trying to force or control. Write out a brief prayer surrendering that specific situation to God's timing and wisdom, and commit to waiting for clarity before taking action.

Do Not Judge God by an Unfinished Story

Reading: Genesis 37:18-28; Genesis 50:19-21

Devotional: Joseph's story looked like a tragedy at multiple points. The pit. Potiphar's house. The prison. At each of those chapters, a person watching from the outside could have concluded that God had abandoned him or that faithfulness carried no reward. But none of those chapters were the final chapter. God was not absent in the pit. He was writing the next scene. The same is true for whatever chapter you find yourself in today. You are not at the end. The story is still being written, and the author has already seen how it concludes. Do not mistake a comma for a period.

Reflection: Where have you placed a period in your story that God may have intended as a comma?

Practical Application: Write down one situation you have mentally labeled as finished or failed. Beside it, write the words: "God is not finished here." Return to that page whenever discouragement tells you otherwise.
