Campfire and fireplace season is upon us!

Soon, some friends and I will be doing a fundraiser by selling split, seasoned firewood. This is to support my friend Chris Buckman and Matthew 11:28 BED Ministry.

Please comment if you are interested in supporting us or helping. All proceeds will go to buying new beds to give away to local families who don't have beds.

Faith and hope are rising in an entire community.

We haven't asked to pray. We haven't invited anyone to church. We haven't led a Bible study or had musical worship.

We just keep coming back and they see Jesus the friend of sinners in us and ask for help when they need it.

Good afternoon!

The United Body of Christ has several opportunities to serve our friends at Carriage Mobile Home Park over the next few weeks.

1st Opportunity - We met a precious lady on Resurrection Sunday whose husband died 3 years ago. She has lived alone as a widow since then. She has been unable to wash dishes in her trailer for the past year because of drainage issues in her sink. She was overwhelmed by the love of the Body of Christ being displayed through the willingness to help get her life back on track. We prayed for her and ministered the forgiveness of Jesus to her.

This opportunity will require at least two teams, each with at least four people, on at least two different weekends to help clean her trailer and fix her sink. The United Body of Christ will provide all cleaning supplies and a trailer to take garbage to the dump.

2nd Opportunity - We will also be having a Community Celebration at Carriage on June 11th. We will meet there at 10:45AM to begin setting up. We will need three teams of people. The first team will be grilling, the second team will be setting up activities, and the third team will go with members of the Community to invite people to the party. We will have signs set up and members of the Community have started inviting their neighbors to come. This will be a GREAT opportunity to share the love of God and build relationships.

Freely loving these folks has been by far the most fulfilling times of my life. I have no doubt that you will find incredible fulfillment from loving them, as well.
