It was a long day... But we have our Permanent Residency (for 10 years)!!
It started with getting to the office at 6:30am. The goal was that we would be out of the office by 8am and able to make it home early.
Five of Seven of us were done before 8am... However, 5 is not 7 and that is where the day went long. Paraguay made some updates just after our arrival and attempted to go digital! But in the process they lost thousands and thousands ( and probably more) of files.
Two of the Loucks files went missing and it was as if they didn't exist, so arriving today we found this out and thank you to Clari Castillo we were well taken care of, it just took time.
Kat and the kids did great while we spent most of those hours sitting and waiting. Not planning to spend hours we did not take stuff to occupy but I could not have done it without Kathleen!
Seven hours later we left the office with everything completed!
We praise the Lord for those he brought into our lives through the process! We thank God for the team who handled our paperwork, for the workers who processed everything and for finally being able to put this process behind us and looking forward toward the next.
