We will be studying the book of Luke all of December starting Dec 1 through Christmas day! Please join us!
Advent is a season of anticipation, reflection, and celebration. Biblically, it means “coming” or “arrival” and focuses on the fulfillment of God’s promise to send a Savior into the world. It’s a time to remember the greatest birth in history—the birth of Jesus Christ. Through Advent, we prepare our hearts not only to celebrate His coming as a baby in Bethlehem but also to await His glorious return as our King. Each year, my husband and I read through the book of Luke, chapter by chapter, starting December 1 and continuing until Christmas Day.
This tradition has deepened our understanding of who Jesus is and renewed our gratitude for the incredible gift of salvation. This year, I’m overjoyed to invite you on this journey through Luke, sharing in this tradition as we draw closer to Christ together. As we walk through the 25 chapters of Luke, we’ll witness the life, ministry, and mission of Jesus. From the angel’s announcement to Mary to His teachings, miracles, sacrifice, and resurrection, every chapter reveals the heart of God and the depth of His love for us.
My prayer is that this devotional will inspire your faith, renew your hope, and fill you with the joy of the season as we celebrate Jesus—the greatest gift of all.
