I know it's been a while since I posted on this page, the only thing I can ask is for your forgiveness and understanding. This year has been a wild ride personally, God has really taken his time to grow my faith. But that's who God is at the core, he's the father waiting on the hill looking for his wayward child. If you haven't heard let me break it down for you, there is nothing and I mean nothing you can do that God will not restore your faith and place at his table. We severe a merciful God, her loves you with every fiber of his being and has a plan over your life. God really desires us and wants that real intimate relationship with us. He is the healer extraordinaire and he wants to preform miracles and wonders in your life to erase any shape of doubt as to his motive for your relationship with God. Let that song in for a moment, the God who created the heavens and the earth, who breathed life into dirt to create men and women, who sent his only son to die on the cross for the cost of everyone's sin, is same God calling you back and restoring who he wants you to be. He is wrapping you in his coat because you were bare, he is preparing food for you you because you were hungry, and he is putting out the water of life so that he can spend eternity with you by his side. Folks it doesn't get anymore real than that, where every tear and pain will be removed from you, where everyone you have ever loved and lost will be waiting for you to welcome you home with open arms. This is the God we serve, so trust in him and not onto yourself and he will make straight your paths.

My prayer for today. Man when God decided to move and you're not ready he'll let you know most intimately.

Psalms 37:5

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this

I'm the person laying awake in you, I fear nothing because nothing came before me and nothing comes against me. I have bestowed upon you my shield, armor, and sword so that nothing may come against you. You shall not fear anything because I'm with you. Where there is darkness in your path, I will illuminate it. Where the bath becomes hard to take, I will give your strength. Because you have faith and are covered in my blood nothing is impossible to you and nothing is stronger than you. Walk in faith and see yourself through my eyes.

Father God,

In all of my travels, endeavors, and journeys, you are there for me. You strengthen me and bring me peace when I'm at tremulous times. Help me to keep my faith strong and rely on your wisdom and guidance to help me walk. Don't allow my foot to strike where you would not have me tread. And in all things help me to pray first and not question your way.

Amen

My friends and family, in this time of turmoil and chaos, don't be fooled into believing you don't have it in you to keep going. As I have said in previous messages, God has already provisioned us with what it takes to weather the storm and grow our faith. That could not be anymore true in this day and age. Keep praying, the more we pray the more the enemy loses that foot hold in our life. Keep pushing and keep the fellowship.

Sitting here pondering things and it occurred to me, God’s will is infinite and solid. The problem comes from when we try to interpret ourselves. Sure we mean good and all though it’s not like God is sending out text messages, but if he wants to get the message across to you he does just that. But, huge is the tool of deception the enemy uses against us. He uses it because it works and because it works it makes determining the will of God that much harder on us. But, here is a cheat sheet, questions to ask when determining the will of God:

Does it match biblically?
If Jesus was here would he do it?
Does it feel wrong? Do you feel like you need to hide it?
Have you prayed and waited on it to see if God moves on it?

If we miss these key steps then determining God’s will over our lives in wandering blind through the desert praying for rain. God delivered us from the desert so that we wonder no more and in doing so gave us the law to govern our lives with. Correspondingly if the law was given to us to give us direction why are we looking in others to tell what the Bible already says? God told the holy sprit to reside in our hearts so that we would have the ability to walk and not grow faint and to have the spirit of conviction to let us know what’s wrong and what’s write. The moment we stop thinking God isn’t with us, is the moment Gods will becomes crystal clear. God is not dead he is everlasting and omnipresent and with us always.

Ok.?.?

When we talk to people around us we shorten our responses because we believe it to shorten the time it takes to say something. Yes to ya or ok, don’t really want to to maybe or I’ll think about it. Now that’s all good but as we shorten what we say to others we also do it with God. Ok, God I will talk to this person, ya God I’ll stop doing this. But we lose the power of dedication and the surrender to the command. We forget to submit to the writer of our story. James 4:7 says submit yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Let’s take the first part of that verse and realize when we submit to God that it is the acknowledgement that his plan over our lives surpasses our own plan. Therefore anything he plans to do in our lives we need to give into because he is our father and he wants what’s best for us.
