Good evening Abner Baptist church. We had our Ladies and Men’s meeting tonight. Had pizza, spaghetti, hot wings, banana pudding, and four more dessert. Salads. Good turn out, thanks for everyone who brought food.

I LOVE THIS ANALOGY:
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting-tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Hello Abner Baptist Church, we had a great Lady’s and men’s meeting Saturday. Good food, great fellowship and lots of desserts. Plus homemade strawberry ice cream. Sure looking forward to next month’s meeting. Great job everyone.

Hello Abner Baptist Church, with all the storms in our area. I have never seen so much destruction of trees and homes before. It was by God Grace no one was hurt, with power out for some over a week. This shows us how quickly our lives can change.
Our country, our government and people need Christ in our lives more than we have ever had. And yet our Church’s are empty.
Wake up Americans, Jesus is the only one who can change these things.
If my people which are called by my name, will humble them selves and pray, and change from their ways. Then I will hear from heaven and heal their nations
It time for God people to come together and pray.

We had a great Easter yesterday, I want to thank the 34 people who attended our services. We partook of the Lord Supper. We want to welcome the 3 visitors who also attended. Give God the praise for He is great and mighty.
Looking forward to this Sunday. Dear Lord please touch our sick and heal them that need healing.
