Geobound

Geobound Geobound is a Christian non-profit, aiding those in need through various works. Furthering God's love worldwide isn't just our statement, its our passion!

Founded in 2002, Rod and Celeste Groomer ignited action to their passion for furthering God's love world wide by establishing a Christian 501(c)3 non-profit organization called, Geobound, supplying humanitarian needs of education, funding, and empowerment in the places where people need it most. Geo - meaning world; and bound - ready to go. Embracing a vision to support and train Christian cross-c

ultural believers and leaders, Geobound has developed a wide networking of partnerships with local and overseas ministers, churches, and organizations, connecting both sources of support in an effort to bring humanitarian aid to people who are in desperate need. Geobound's influence has not only provided buildings and materials for schools, churches, and orphanages in various countries, but has also supplied invaluable teaching materials; funding and equipping missionaries on the field; and designing programs to empower individuals, families, and churches. So rise and run with us to answer the cry of this generation and reap a harvest that is ripe. Attempt something so big that unless God intervenes, it's bound to fail - to reach a world, a people, a culture that is not only desiring a relationship with God, but wanting to further it. Join us in making an impact that will last an eternity. After all, furthering God's love world wide isn't just our statement, it's our passion!

· We partnered with new directors of Feed A Child Ministries, David and Francie Marham, who have continued the work of feeding and educating children in Haiti.

· We witnessed a new season of leadership established at Christ For The Nations as Golan Lindsay was given the office of President by his father Dennis Lindsay. He is the third generation to now lead the Institute. We also assisted in funding a mission outreach at CFNI in 2025.

· We assisted a new missionary, Mindy, launching her ministry of freeing brick slaves, preaching the Gospel and providing medical care in Pakistan under her newly established ministry DEHAR (Doves Eyes Health and Rescue).

· We reconnected and forwarded a lavish financial gift to a Messianic ministry in Israel who has numerous Christ-centered outreaches, thanks to a longtime friend and partner, Ruth Louis.

· We reconnected with Go To Nation missionaries Dean and Christy Fulkerson who have been faithfully working with youth and children for many years in the Philippines.

· And we also reconnected with Pastor Frances Whittaker in Page, Arizona, (in the Navajo Nation) who is now leading a study group through our Bible Training Series developed especially for the Native American Initiative. We have continued to create curriculum to add to the Native American Initiative Bible Training Series. Under Frances’s leadership, the discussion based learning group has studied book 1—The Bible Is The Word Of God, and has begun their study of book 2—In The Beginning, from our 13 book series. Our heart is to plant Bible Training learning groups among every Native American tribe across the United States. That’s a pretty BIG ask, but we trust in a pretty BIG God who is well able to accomplish it.

Reading through the Advent this Christmas season, a prominent thought occurred; God entrusted Himself to His own handiwork. It had never stood out before, but to think that “who” God made, He entrusted His Son to inhabit and be cared for by them. What a wonder!
God made mankind, He provided all substance for their life and then God allowed Himself to be trusted into their care, fully and completely. Yes, He’s sovereign. Yes, He’s Mighty. And yes, He still trusted fallen man with “Emmanuel” (God made into human flesh). He became one of us, and He trusted Himself to us.
God still trusts humanity with Himself. As Mary of old carried the Savior in her womb, He still desires to be carried by mankind. He still trusts us to be filled with His Presence and reveal Jesus to those who have never seen Him before.
As God’s handiwork, allow Him to fill you increasingly with His Presence. Become a wise keeper of His Son, Emmanuel, Jesus. He is trusting us to make Him known.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8

This year we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on the same day as my nephew’s wedding. It was such a joy watching two young people start their lives together on the same day we did, only 40 years apart. We have this sweet picture with our children, Brandon and Chelsea, as a precious memory of the day.

Throughout this year we have celebrated 4 family weddings, traveled to numerous cities, attended special meetings, visited with old friends and Geobound partners, enjoyed the company of many family members and took time to relish the life Rod and I have made together. It seems like a whirlwind of activity now as I think back, but in fact every month this year has built upon the next restoring joy and health and reinvigorating us to keep reaching for the next moment we can make memories with friends and family.

I heard a quote from a pastor that summarizes the place we find ourself with Geobound, “Don’t continue to reminisce the past when there’s so much more to dream about doing.” We did take time to think about the past 40 years, but we are certainly in full swing of dreaming about the future and what this coming year will bring. We are so thankful for the numerous blessings we have to praise the Lord for.

From our family to yours, we pray that your heart be overwhelmed with God’s goodness and abundance.
- Rod and Celeste

We moved to the Cherokee Nation in 2016 by the Lord’s direction. The goal was to establish the Native American Initiative as a spiritual avenue specifically for Native Americans to engage in Biblical Awakening and leadership training. So, stepping out in faith almost a decade ago, has culminated in developing a prayer initiative, bible training materials, and gradual immersion in the culture and pace of NE Oklahoma. We have found that slow movement, relationship building and remaining steadfast has been the key to growing a reputation here. We have been welcomed among the people through our attendance in language classes, church “singings” and compassion ministry.

In the last six years, Rod has worked part-time as a hospice chaplain. His territory includes four counties of the reservation and the Cherokee Nation headquarters in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. For several of those years, he has had the privilege of ministering to Native American patients and their families. Rod has formed very warm friendships with many. These families have benefited from the compassionate care and prayer. Rod has also had the opportunity to lead many in the saving knowledge of the Lord.

We have been unwavering in the direction the Lord gave us. We have carried out the strategies the Lord revealed to us. We are confident that the Lord will pour out His Spirit among Native Americans. We are positioned to reap the harvest of the awakening to come.
