This Sunday God’s word reminds us that we are our brother’s keeper. The Lord has entrusted us with the task of keeping
each other on the straight and narrow. That means if we see someone straying we are to show them their sin and urge them to stop. No, this is not easy but it is the greatest act of love we can show someone – making sure they are on the path to heaven.

He calls on us to deny ourselves and follow him on the way of the cross. May what Jesus has done for us on the cross cause us to pick up our cross and follow him and offer our lives as living sacrifices to him!

Adults will continue our study of Exodus in a welcoming, relaxed setting. No preparation is needed, and there’s no pressure to read aloud or answer questions, just come and grow in God’s Word with us. Children will enjoy their own Bible lesson through a story and craft.

Whether you’re new to the Bible, searching for a church home, or have been attending church for years, we’d love to have you.

A new school year brings fresh beginnings-new classrooms, new teachers, new friendships, and new routines. For some, it’s an exciting first day. For others, it may come with a few nerves or uncertainty about what lies ahead.

But one thing does not change: our faithful Savior is with us.

God reminds us, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). We don’t have to carry the worries, expectations, and unknowns of a new year on our own. Our gracious God is already there, and he promises to guide and strengthen his children each step of the way.

As this school year begins, let’s pray for our students, teachers, school staff, and parents. May God give them wisdom for each day, patience in every challenge, joy in learning and serving, and confidence in his unfailing promises.

A new year. A fresh beginning. The same faithful Savior.

May everything we do this school year point us back to Christ, who is our strength, our peace, and our sure hope.

The Church will stand forever. Nothing can keep our Redeemer from upholding his promised salvation. Neither false expectations nor the gates of hell, neither an Egyptian army nor a flowing river, not even the great tribulation of the end times will keep our God from preserving his Church.

This Sunday we are reminded that everyone who calls on the name of Jesus is a part of his Church!
