As another school year begins, let’s join together in prayer for every student—those who have already started and those preparing to return. We pray for our children in Pre-K, elementary, middle school, high school, college, trade school, and beyond.
Heavenly Father, we place every student into Your loving hands. Cover them from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. Protect them as they travel to and from school—by bus, car, or plane—especially our college students traveling away from home. Keep them safe in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, dorms, playgrounds, campuses, and everywhere they go.
Bless them with wisdom, focus, confidence, courage, and a love for learning. Surround them with genuine friends, caring teachers, and adults who will show kindness, fairness, encouragement, and love. Above all, draw every student closer to You. May they develop a personal and intimate relationship with You, seek Your guidance daily, and allow Your light to shine through them.
Lord, we pray for an end to bullying, violence, hatred, peer pressure, and every plan of the enemy. Let this be a school year filled with peace, respect, compassion, protection, and love for every student and every educator.
