When a crisis or a major problem come to our lives far to many Christians start saying, “what in the world are we going to do now”. That kind of statement should never leave the mouth of a Child of God.

The troubles and trials of this world comes to us all, but if you become “Word Oriented” the first thing that hits your mind when trials come is, what does the Word of God have say about it, that’s my absolution.

The more you talk about the problems in your life the bigger the they become. You need to start acting like the Bible is true and everything else is a lie. If you cannot find any scripture that tells you the problem you are encountering is right, then immediately stop believing the lie you have been presented with.

When you saturate your mind with the Word of God you become drenched in The Holy Spirit……

When you go back in the old Greek the word identity means, “identifying something as belonging to or originating from”. When you learn the truth about who you are in Jesus it opens up a brand new level in your life that you get to step into. Once you become born again you immediately belong to Jesus and you identify originates in who He says you are.

A rock solid truth you need to know is that you would make a lousy somebody else, but once you know your identity in Jesus, you will be the best you in existence today. If you start this very instant and choose to live in the spirit of prayer you will walk around praying, you will be praying when you lay down, you will be praying when you get out of bed, and because of that your answers are always coming from the Lord. The power of God is always available but it is prayer that brings the manifestation into visibility.

You will never rise above your definition of identity using your own thinking, so change your mind and you will change your level. The way the transformation happens is when you renew your mind Romans 12:2 and when you choose to do it the victory soon follows.

When you feel like giving up stop immediately and remember why you started. It is ok to stop and rest but it isn’t ok to stay down and stop walking. I have seen many get a breakthrough in their identity while they are worshiping the Lord. When you worship Christ Jesus please realize this isn’t your warm up act for the sermon, it’s your battle cry that breaks the chains of bo***ge before a word is ever spoken………

But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell…Numbers 33:55 KJV

I read of a woman that said Paul was sick his whole life because of the thorn in his flesh. I have never one time read where that thorn was sickness, it’s not in the Bible anywhere, I’ve done some looking.

You must interpret the Bible with the Bible not man’s interpretation or your thought process. In the Old Testament God told Israel is they don’t kill the Canaanite’s they will be a thorn in their flesh, (Joshua 23:13, Judges 2:3, numbers 33:55)

Brother Paul told us what his thorn in the flesh was in 2nd Corinthians 12:7. No matter where Paul went to preach the Gospel this evil spirit went before and behind him and stirred up anything and anyone it could. Now Paul couldn’t vanish that spirit from the earth or command it to hell because, until Jesus comes back, the devil is the god of this world 2nd Corinthians 4:4….sickness is of satan not God.

Always interpret the Bible with The Bible……..Paul’s thorn in the flesh wasn’t sickness or disease.

The old Hebrew meaning of delight is “to gain great pleasure, satisfaction, and happiness”… when you take pleasure in the Lord Jesus and are satisfied with your walk with Him you reach a level of happiness that you never thought was possible….when you get to this level the Lord promised you that He will give you the desires of your heart……

you want to be filled with joy? You want and need peace in your life? Delight yourself in the Lord and watch Him work all things for your good…….

When you change your attitude it is then that you start maturing….change of attitude produces results, results produce advancement, advancement produces opportunity, opportunity produces experience and experience produces hope…….

It all starts with you and a willingness to step out of the pattern of wrong thinking and step into the many opportunities that lie before you when you simply choose to just change your attitude………

If God cares enough about you to number the hairs on your head just think about how much He wants you walking in victory…most people I counsel struggle with feelings of unworthiness and cannot seem to step away but when I just get the Word in them it absolutely sets them free…you are worthy to be loved, you are worthy to be happy, you are worthy to be cared about, you are worthy of the precious love of God so step away from the lies, forgive yourself, and then step into your promised land……. The Lord will meet you where you are just like you are and will walk every step of the way with you……
