Last night was truly a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Sheila and the National Day of Prayer warriors for such a beautiful evening of worship, prayer, healing, and transformation. It was an honor and privilege to teach on Identity Formation in Christ.

People engaged deeply, prayers were answered, and this morning many are walking with a greater awareness of their true identity in Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3:3–5 reminds us:

“For you died (to this world), and your (new, real) life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory...”

So often we forget to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what this hidden life truly is. But when we invite Him, God begins to uncover what is hidden in body, soul, and spirit. It is not partial life — it is a completely new life in Christ.

In my upcoming book Who Am Eye, I share how:

• The body is the truth teller — it reveals what is happening internally.
• The soul functions like a control tower — processing information, making decisions, and influencing emotions.
• The spirit is safely anchored in God through Christ.

Many believers continue to walk in condemnation because they do not fully understand that their spirit is secure in the completed work of the Cross.

We are adopted sons and daughters of the Most High God. Our identity begins when we ask, “Whose am I?” — and then God answers the deeper question: “Who am I?”

But identity cannot come through information alone. Without relationship with Jesus, it remains only knowledge. When we truly walk with Him, truth becomes transformational. We experience Divine love, belonging, healing, freedom, and purpose.

There truly is a hidden life in Christ with God.

Meet the Four Selves — a simple framework to transform identity and ministry. I’m Dr. Johan Green, and I’ve seen how these four voices either hijack decisions or invite freedom in Christ.

• False Self: driven by shame and performance.
• Fearful Self: avoids risk, hinders leadership.
• Formed Self: shaped by gospel truth, leads with freedom.
• Flourishing Self: active, fruit-bearing ministry.

Practical outcomes: clearer ministry direction, healthier mentorship, and readiness for coaching certification. Scripture reminds us we are a new creation (2 Cor 5:17) — you don’t have to lead from shame.

As leaders who shepherd souls and train coaches, we must ask more than “Is it accurate?” We must ask: how does this answer shape a person’s identity, agency, and long-term formation in Christ?

I wrote a concise, evaluator-focused framework to help teams assess AI responses for identity impact, agency preservation, psychological realism, ethical non-coercion, and long-term formation risk. It’s intentionally evaluation-oriented—not therapy—and designed to surface patterns like identity-foreclosure, pseudo-empathy, and dependency reinforcement.

Why this matters for Christian coaching: when tools shape how people see themselves, we need clear, grace-centered standards that protect dignity and freedom from shame or performance. This framework aligns with our call to nurture identity in Christ while ensuring AI remains an accountable aid—not an overbearing voice.
