What a great blessing it was for me to visit the Holy Monastery of Saint Nektarios in Roscoe, New York.
With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, I had the joy of participating in the celebration of the feast day of the translation of the Holy Relics of Saint Nektarios, as well as in the cheirothesia and enthronement of the new Geronda of the Monastery, Very Rev. Archimandrite Stephanos.
This blessed day carried an even deeper personal meaning for me, as we also commemorated Saint Polydoros, whose name my beloved father carried. Being there, I offered a prayer service at the graves of both of my beloved parents, Polydoros and Kyriaki, and it was in a moment filled with prayer, gratitude, love, and remembrance.
I thank God for this blessed day and pray that Saint Nektarios and Saint Polydoros intercede for us all.

Today, we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Father Konstantinos’ ordination to the Holy Priesthood. For 25 years, Father Konstantinos has faithfully served Christ and our Church with love, dedication, and devotion. May our Lord continue to strengthen and bless him in his sacred ministry for many more years!

As we begin the month of August, the Orthodox Church enters the fast, observed from August 1–14, in preparation for the great Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos on August 15. During this sacred period, we also offer her paraklesis service on weekdays.Through the intercessions of our Most Holy Theotokos, may our Lord grant us peace, strength, healing, and salvation.
