Recapping the last two days for our college students serving in Toronto. Our students were able to pray over downtown Toronto for God to work through local churches to grow His kingdom. They were back at the Persian Food Festival again sharing the gospel and connecting families with God’s Body Church. The last two evenings they hosted two events for God’s Body young adults and youth.

Wednesday Update 🇳🇮

This morning we were able to finish painting the church! While the building now has a fresh look, we are reminded that we gather to worship an eternal and unchanging God.

In the evening, we concluded the day with a student-led worship service. Our students led announcements, games, worship, testimonies, and even the preaching. It was incredible to see them step up and lead with boldness and faith.

The future of the church is bright. After all, this is Jesus’ Church, and His Church is advancing. 🙌

Yesterday, our college students and their team in Nicaragua went street witnessing and hosted another youth conference. They praised the Lord for the one person who accepted Christ while they were street witnessing!

Tuesday Update 🇳🇮

This morning we continued painting the church, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to bless our church family in this way. It has been a joy to serve alongside them as they prepare their new gathering space.

In the evening, we hosted a discipleship conference led by our student leaders. It was encouraging to see them lead conversations about how to disciple others and faithfully lead small groups.

Please continue praying for our team to have boldness as they share the gospel and serve throughout the week. Also pray that we would finish this ministry week in His strength, trusting in the Lord rather than leaning on our own.

Three of our Faithbridge college students are serving Jesus in Nicaragua alongside the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Sunday, the team had the opportunity to minister at a local church. Yesterday, the team went street witnessing and hosted a youth conference at another church. We praise God for how He is working through the team in Nicaragua. One person prayed to put their faith in Jesus yesterday!

Monday Update 🇳🇮

We had an amazing day serving in León! In the morning, our students helped paint the church as they prepare to transition into their new gathering space. It was a joy to serve in a practical way and help refresh the space for their growing ministry.

In the evening, we hosted a beach worship night with the church. They invited their friends and others from the community to join us as we sang praises together and shared testimonies of what God has done. James did a great job faithfully preaching the Word!

Please continue to pray for our team. Pray for boldness as students continue to share the hope of Christ, and also pray for energy and health as some of our team is feeling tired and working through some sickness.

Sunday Update 🇳🇮

We had a wonderful start to our trip as we visited our sister church Sunday morning. What a privilege it was to worship together! Moments like these give us a small glimpse of what heaven will be like when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Christ is Lord.

Our students did an incredible job sharing their testimonies and giving God the glory for what He has done in their lives.

Later that evening, we hosted a soccer camp for young people in the community. Our students continued sharing their testimonies and one of our team members shared a devotional about building our lives on the solid foundation of Christ.

Please continue praying for our students to have boldness as they share the hope found in Jesus. Pray also that the hearts of those who hear the gospel this week would be open and receptive to the good news.
