Matthew 25
It is important to remember this during this holiday season and every day. When you look for help from those you love and find it not, know that Jesus said it in Matthew 25. What you have done to the least of these…
So I ask you where is the heart of God? Where is your compassion, your heart and your humanity.
We see our neighbors on the street and we don’t stop to see how they are doing. If even only to pray or show them they are loved. So during this time, we should stop and think, what would Jesus do!
As Christians, we forget it is only a step between the life we live and the life Christ wants us to live. Have you stopped to think about what heart have we shown, have we shown the heart of God?
Matthew 25:40,42-45
40 Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,"
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
So this season find it your duty to show the heart of Christ Jesus. We normally wouldn’t give anyone the respect to take up any space in our minds let alone our lives if even for a moment. Let up truly be Gods hands feet and mouth peace. Let’s give ourselves over to him to be completely used be God. I believe we can do this. So let’s do this one step, one soul at a time. Ministry is life and life is worth living for in Christ Amen.
