Dear Family & Friends,

đź–¤ As I settle into Chapter 51, I simply wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for every birthday wish, every text, every call, every prayer, every gift, every kind word, every sponsored book, and every act of generosity. Thank you for indulging me as I shared some of the lessons God taught me during my fiftieth year. Your encouragement reminded me once again that I do not walk this journey alone.

I'm especially grateful to share that, because of your generosity—and including an incredible gift from my church—we were able to fully sponsor 100 copies of God Speaks for women who need encouragement. That has brought me tremendous joy. What began as a birthday hope became a beautiful testimony of what can happen when a community comes together with open hearts.

After the celebrations, I intentionally stepped away on Monday and Tuesday. I slowed down. I prayed. I reflected. I checked in with my own soul. I spent time thanking God for His faithfulness and asking Him to prepare my heart for what He desires to do in this next season.

One of the things I wrote in my journal was this: "Today I am purposing to be grateful."

Not because every prayer has been answered, or because question has been resolved. But because God has been faithful through every chapter of my story.

As I look ahead, I don't simply want to accomplish more—I want to become more. I want to listen more carefully, love more deeply, write more honestly, serve more faithfully, and live with greater intentionality. If Chapter 50 taught me anything, it is that God's greatest work often happens in the places we never would have chosen for ourselves.

Thank you for being part of my story. Your love, encouragement, and prayers have strengthened me more than you know. I pray that as you continue walking through your own season, you will recognize God's hand in both the extraordinary and the ordinary. May He give you courage for what lies ahead, peace for what you cannot control, and joy that is rooted not in circumstances but in His unchanging presence.

As I close I prayed this for myself and I pray it for you as well: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He renew your strength, establish the work of your hands, and remind you daily that He is faithful to complete every good work He has begun in you. May your next chapter be filled with purpose, peace, and the unmistakable presence of God.đź–¤

🌱Awaken Family, we have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus this week.

A mother reached out to me today carrying a very real and urgent need. She is working, praying, trying to remain stable, and doing all she can to care for her two boys. Right now, she needs help covering camp at the Y so she can continue working and keep her children safe and cared for during the day.

We are opening a special giving initiative today through Friday to bless her and remind her that she is not forgotten.
