This is from Tommy & Sara Rose: Their church has moved to a temporary place because they had outgrown their previous meeting place.
Tommy & Sara are BMA missionaries in Mexico & they are the Texas WMA project to raise funds for them to buy property & build a larger church for the people to worship in. Remember to send your WMA's project money to Texas WMA c/o Lindsie Burchett, 812 S. Main St, Winnsboro, TX 75494.

From Sara & Tommy Rose (our project) after the situation that took place this weekend in Mexico:

Thank you for the many messages of concern. By God’s grace, we are safe and grateful to be in one of the safest states in Mexico. As a precaution, our governor has issued a shelter-in-place order, and classes have been suspended for tomorrow.
We humbly ask for your continued prayers for our beloved country. In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, we cling to our Heavenly Father. May this season serve as a testimony of His faithfulness and power, even in times of great uncertainty.
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
🇲🇽

Jason Curry quoted in the 2026 February Baptist Progress (sorry I couldn't add the picture!):

Our new sign captures this transformation. It’s more than a marker; it’s a promise of hope and a public witness to the work happening here every day. Thank you, WMA of Texas, whose generosity made this beautiful sign possible. Their gift honors the past and points to the future; reminding every visitor that hope lives here and that our mission is advancing.

God is good...all the time!

A thought from Cindy Allen:

I went through the drive through at Whataburger today. They have a sign, "One nation under God." How I wish that was true, but I feel it is not. But we could move in the right direction by thinking small. What if each morning I determined to make that day under God. What if I put myself under God? My family? My job? My hobbies? My church? My neighborhood? Things I can actually influence for His glory. If we all took responsibility for our little piece of this great nation (and put it under God) THEN the Whataburger sign might be more factual.

Just a reminder that the fiscal books for the National WMA of BMAA closes on February 28th.
-
We will continue to collect for the 25-26 project, Just the Crumbs Ministries, until the annual meeting on April 22nd. However those funds will be reported in the 26-27 fiscal year.
Thank you for your contributions.

I've gotten the Texas WMA website working some better. You can click on the Officers, the Project & the Sunbeam & Districts buttons, but you have to click on your computer's back arrow to go back to the home page. Still working on it!
