The condition of being distracted, restless, and unfocused is also present within the membership of the Church, including within traditional communities. It is such a blessing to be a part of a Traditional Latin Mass parish where people speak the common language of the Faith, united on the Truths given to us by Christ through the Apostles. Seeing our unity of Faith, the demons will seek to divide us in other ways through cliques, infighting, factionalism, and even schism. In any parish, some can become distracted and divided on smaller matters that in the face of the present crisis we face, are really insignificant. Small disputes that are molehills can quickly be built up into mountains. We must rise above this and maintain a mature love for one another that endures and bears with the other. At this moment in time, we must focus in on the real threats…the real danger…the real adversaries. The Traditional Latin Mass and the Traditional Catholic Faith are presently under assault. Let us then be united in facing off against the liberal foe and the modernist virus present within the membership of the Church.

DIOCESAN PRIEST: Francis 'Drops an Atom Bomb' on Tradition

In this Sunday Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father traces the history of the Tridentine Mass from Trent all the way down to Summorum Pontificum and now Traditionis Custodes, arguing that the Mass of All Time is of God and cannot be suppressed by any man, even a pope. Citing Biblical precedent, Father argues in favor of obeying God in this case rather than man when it comes to the preservation of the Faith. He also remains confident that the good bishops who have been open to Pope Benedict's motu proprio Summorum Pontificum thus far will continue to support those attached to the Mass of Tradition. Comparing Traditionis Custodes to an atom bomb dropped on the Church, Father begs us not to abandon the fight for Tradition but to remain steadfast, stay in the Church and persevere in this holy cause until God liberates His Church.

Dear members of the Fœderatio Internationalis Una Voce.

A time of sorrow and struggles comes upon us; this is neither the first nor the last. But, let's not be afraid; we all know that we have chosen the narrow and difficult path because we are sure that the Traditional Mass will recover its place at the center of the Church when God wants it.

We live in a time when the Church is tested and we are used to fighting, we are old friends of the incomprehension, but in every moment of disappointment, the light and Hope we needed have come from the Mass.

All these years, we have been the last link in the chain of worldly powers. We have never had the power to impose burdens, restrictions, or outrageous requests on anybody. We can't force any priest or bishop to do anything. Even when the provisions of the Church recognized the rights of the faithful to access the holy treasure of the Traditional Mass, it was frequently obstructed and blocked. In other words, it is not a secret that we have been in the peripheral of the Church.

The Motu proprio Traditionis Custodes represents a new attempt to forbid access to the old Missal and unequivocally will restart a new confrontation within the Church. A confrontation that due to the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum of His Holiness Benedict VXI was slowly being overcome. Let's not forget that this battle is not caused only by practical or even political reasons, but clearly, there is a spiritual motivation behind it. Let's pray for the Holy Father and for all the Bishops to whom we due obedience, respect, and love.

We must ask ourselves why God allows humiliation and evil. I don't have the answer, but perhaps He wants us to persevere with more Faith and courage. Someday Christ will reign over the whole world, but the Church will suffer its way to the cross before that. Do we want to be spectators, or do we want to share our shoulders?

To face the new circumstances, we need to make visible the unity between us and with the Church, we are not the kind of rebels some want us to be. We'll work harder and speak louder about the reasons why we won't give up. We need to be prudent and lovely take care of our Mother the Church. We need to pray, persevere, speak, and do not lose Hope.

Now more than ever, for the humble people attached to the Traditional Mass that don't have a voice, for our children, for the next generations; let's remember and join the prayers of the Cristeros that gave their lives when were forbidden to attend their Mass. Difficult days are coming, let's prepare our hearts for them.

¡Viva Cristo Rey!

Diocesan Priest Says COVID lockdowns Strengthened Traditional Catholicism

In this Sunday Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father breaks down in horrific statistical detail how mainstream Catholics are losing the Faith in dramatic fashion. He then traces the loss of faith in the Real Presence back to the "reforms" of the post-conciliar era. Father then points to the stark parallel between those "reforms" and the Protestant "reforms" of the 16th Century. What is happening to us, and why are so few fighting back? Father argues that traditional Catholics are uniting and fighting back. During the pandemic lockdown, traditional Catholics fought back harder than ever. To such an extent, in fact, that our communities are booming after 15 months of closed churches, parking lot masses and gatherings restrictions.

Prayer for the Church
To Saint Joseph
MOST POWERFUL Patriarch St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, which has always invoked thee in anxiety and trouble, from the exalted seat of thy glory cast a loving glance upon the whole Catholic world. Let thy fatherly heart be touched at the sight of the Mystical Spouse and the Vicar of Christ overwhelmed with sorrow and persecuted by powerful enemies. Oh, by the bitter anguish thou didst experience upon earth, dry the tears of the venerable Pontiff, defend him, comfort him, intercede for him with the Giver of peace and charity, that, all adversity being removed and all error dissipated, the entire Church may serve God in perfect liberty. Amen.
