Our mission is to serve the city of Irvine by uniting the public sector, non-profits, faith community, businesses, and all residents to address the needs of the city. We are a city-wide movement for everyone who loves our city and wan

ts to be part of seeking its peace and prosperity. The purpose of Love Irvine is to unite our city, so everyone feels connected and everyone [knows how to] contributes to the health of the city. We want to see all of the communities (faith, business, public, nonprofits, and residents) working together to meet the needs of Irvine, with leadership from the Church that unites all members of the community. We do this through three impactful initiatives; Volunteering, Community Outreach, and Prayer. ​

One thing about Love Irvine volunteers is we always show up and do the work, even if it's more than anticipated! Packing 400 food boxes took a lot of effort, but we did it with energy and joy!

Every year for the last 3 years, Love Irvine has joined Lakeview Senior Center at their Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. It has become an annual tradition for us to help out at this event, and we have volunteers who show up year after year! Hunger isn't something that happens far away. It's happening right here in our backyard. 🏡

1 in 8 kids in Orange County doesn't know where their next meal is coming from. 1 in 10 seniors faces the same reality.

Last month we went to the reopening of the Katie Wheeler Library, which was really special.

There was music playing outside, kids running around with snacks, families hanging out, and inside, just shelves full of books being picked up as fast as they could be restocked.

It wasn’t anything over-the-top. Just a really good reminder of how much spaces like this matter.

The updates to the library are thoughtful as well: a wider selection of books, new program areas, and items the community actually requested.

One mom shared that she encourages her kids to read early so they don’t rely on screens, and you could really feel that throughout the day. Kids were excited about books, not iPads.

It’s more than a library. It’s a place people come to slow down, learn, and just be together in community, which is what Love Irvine is all about.

Looking for a simple way to give back in Irvine?

At Love Irvine, we believe serving your community should be easy, meaningful, and something anyone can be part of 🤍

We have an opportunity for you to be a part of a service project with Lakeview Senior Center on April 17.

We’re looking for volunteers to step in and serve the volunteers of the senior center! This is our 3rd year joining this event, and we’d love to have you on the team. Whether you’ve volunteered before or this would be your first time, there’s a place for you.

Not only will you be giving your time, but you’ll have the chance to get more connected to your Irvine community.
