I can't not tell you how thankful I am for this year's VBS - I believe it was the best one yet! We had a total enrollment of 44 with an average attendance of 38!
Our mission offering goal to support the Grace of Giving ministry to northern Mexico was $300.00 When the final giving was totaled, it amounted to $1,512.12, along with 50 mission packages assembled for kids who have very little in Mexico! Several kids in attendance who did not have a Bible received one.
And I am thankful for the 19 workers who gave so much of there lives to make this VBS a blessing to so many. This group includes the Wilkerson family: Christine, Cara, Cayla, Cassidy and Craig. Also, Kathy & Scott Oglesby, Diana Wellborn, Margaret Head, Chapel & Nation Dagley, Zachary Dysart, Kara Wade, Phyllis Starnes (lead decorator), Lela Wade (food director), Melinda English (worship leader), Timothy Wade (teacher), and of course our VBS/Kids Director Jenny Dagley. Wow, what a team used by our Awesome God!
If you prayed for VBS (and will continue to pray for God's Spirit to work in the hearts of the children who came), you are an essential part of this work!
