Today we concluded our Upper Room series with a message called "Revival." We looked at how Paul’s relationship with Christ prepared him to be used by the Holy Spirit to break barriers and bring hope, even in the raising of Eutychus. When we allow the Holy Spirit to break down the barriers in our own lives, revival can rise in our homes, churches, and communities.

Tomorrow is the uplifting conclusion to the “Upper Room” series. We take a look at the revival that broke out in the Upper Room in Acts 20 and how revivals have taken place over recent years. Revival begins with a conviction of the heart and continues with an obedience to surrender to the move of the Holy Spirit.

On this three year anniversary of Christ Community Church, let us give praise to God for all He has done and for the grace and mercy given to each of us by the Son, Jesus Christ. Happy Three Years!

Tomorrow we gather together for a reverent night of worship. Come and be a witness to the Holy Spirit’s movement tomorrow evening at the Mutchler Center at 6:00 pm. We have amazing worship leaders in Joshua & Kerry Williams and speaker Shannon Vesely that will reveal the mysteries of our faith and why full surrender to Jesus Christ is everything that we need.

In today’s message, *“Pentecost: Advocacy in the Upper Room,”* we studied Acts of the Apostles 2:1–4 and explored the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the believers in the Upper Room. We looked at the history and significance of Pentecost, recognizing it not only as a historic event, but as the beginning of a Spirit-empowered movement that continues today. Through the coming of the Holy Spirit, God equipped His people to boldly proclaim the Gospel and lead others to Jesus Christ. From generation to generation, the Holy Spirit has continued to move, transform lives, empower believers, and draw hearts to Christ. Pentecost reminds us that the Church was never meant to operate without the power, presence, and advocacy of the Holy Spirit.
