September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Monthโa time to bring conversations about su***de out of the shadows and into places where people are already seeking hope, connection, and support.
For many people, the church is one of those places.
Yet signs of suicidal distress are not always obvious, and even the most caring pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and church members may not know what to look for, what to say, or how to respond when someone is struggling.
Su***de and the Church was created to help bridge that gap.
Join us as we talk openly and compassionately about recognizing warning signs, responding appropriately, reducing stigma, and creating church communities where people feel safe enough to say, โIโm not okay.โ
This conversation isnโt about having all the answers. Itโs about being better prepared to notice, listen, support, and connect someone with help when it matters most.
