Whoops! Lightning got one of our trees recently and it will have to be taken down. There are a few others that also have issues and will need removed, sooner or later. Our income is down this year and expenses are up. We had a separate tree fund years ago and it seems like it might be a good time to start one again. Found this saddle in the section north of the well. It may have been from Jeane Winkler's monument. I am not sure, though, and I learned many years ago to not put it back on a stone unless you are sure.

We have had a few windy storms lately. You might want to check your flowers if you have already put them out. There are quite a few on the ground. The mowers plan to be there on Thursday, so we will try to get things picked up before then.

A big shout out to these two men, Don Crist and Teyet Kepling, for getting the flagpole looking sharp for Saturday's celebration. Cub Scout Pack 221 will raise the flag for us at 1 p.m to open the event. Also, a big thanks to my hubby, Dan Rosnett, for the power washing and leaf blowing work, and to our carpenter, Greg Myers, for finishing some last-minute jobs. Chad Sprague and his mowing crew gave the cemetery a touch-up mowing and trim today, then the Hunter and DeAth kids and moms put out flags on the veterans' graves. It takes a village! Come see us Saturday!!
