Indiana Landmarks has announced that $205,000 are being distributed through CICF benefiting 15 sites significant to Indiana’s African American history, and ten of those historic sites are churches. One of the recipients, Allen Chapel AME (pictured), is receiving $10,000 for a fire suppression system. Heartland Methodist Foundation applauds these, and hopes that the good work begun in these churches will be carried on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Heartland accepts grant requests twice a year, on April 1 and October 1. In 2025, we distributed $687,000 to 105 ministries and churches.
