Prayer need:

Things are growing with UO Indy, contacts and communications with the city. Church organizations in need of portable showers. The VA in Evansville wanting our services, Indianapolis, Bloomington, Columbus all wanting our services.

Please pray that we get another shower unit and the funds that come with it for utilizing it.

We have also been in contact with a grant writer and will be having more discussions with her. I’m telling you if we had another trailer we could put it to use.

God already knows our needs and the provision that we need.

Good morning, Missy and I have been in Wisconsin visiting Nicolas and Halie. But because we are out of town doesn’t mean that ministry stops.

We try to connect with churches wherever we are for opportunities to possibly help them and for partnerships.

The economy is not good for a lot of people right now, that means that giving also goes down for many churches in regards to missionaries and even church events. Now is the time to give, as missionaries, as churches, as individuals.

Pray for us, gas is expensive and increases our ministry costs. Come July 1, it becomes illegal to be homeless in Indiana. Pray that God gives us wisdom as to what that means for us.

We are still looking to book church services through the rest of the year! DM me if you need a pulpit fill-in or want to hear about UO Indy.

Please pray for Missy and I, we are traveling throughout parts of Wisconsin to raise awareness about what we do and support. It’s taxing in a different way.

Pray for us! Tomorrow we get commissioned as Nationally Appointed Missionaries for the Assemblies of God U.S. Missions Department. What does this mean? A few things. The first, back to itinerating. Our budget is going to go up but the good news is, not by a huge amount.

Secondly, we can now have one (or a few) MA’s under us. This is important so that we can have more hands to “grow” the ministry. In Indianapolis and as God gives vision possibly other parts of the U.S.. The trailer vision that God gave us over 5 years ago can be replicated anywhere in the United States. We want God to send us the right people if we utilize the ability to bring people up at UO Indy.

When we launched UO Indy we had 3 long term goals.

1). A shower trailer. We have one and it has made an impact throughout the state. It is huge. We are also looking at a laundry vehicle since that is the next biggest need on the streets.

2). To get into the housing projects. We are making strides with a church that has a box truck that has a stage that lowers out of the side for a stage. They used it all the time and it is in great condition. But their food pantry is making a huge impact in their community. They are thinking about giving it to us. I would need a few children’s pastors to volunteer a few hours a month to us it while I minister in other ways.

3). A building, but right now being mobile is great!

Prayer request: Today I went and looked at a passenger van to convert into a mobile laundry unit. The pictures of the unit will be after the pictures of Fresh Time laundry in Maryland. I finally got to speak to Wade, the founder of Fresh Time Laundry and we will talk more soon in length. He is going to share how he spec’d out his van.

Please pray the following ways:

That God will send someone who will purchase the van I looked at today for us. It has 62k miles and overall is in good shape. There are some cosmetic issues (nothing big) because of its age. The owner wants 10k.

After I talk to Wade, I will get a better idea of how much the rest of it will cost. Wade stated that it wasn’t really that expensive or hard to do.

Here are some pics, please pray over them. Laundry is probably the 2nd biggest need on the street.

Again, the first 6 pictures is what we would model it after.
