We had a wonderful first week of KidsBLAST! 🎉

The kids were so excited to kick things off and loved their new blue summer shirts. A special thanks to our intern, Will Oster, for teaching a lesson from the story of Adam and Eve, reminding us that our choices have consequences and encouraging us to choose obedience to God.

If your child hasn’t received a shirt yet, they will be available on Wednesday night for $5 outside the gym entrance.

We’re looking forward to all that God has in store this summer in KidsBLAST!

In our young adults ministries, we want to show that God’s Word gives us everything we need for life and godliness! That’s why we recently launched the “Life in Focus” blog on our new Single Focus website — a place where we can address real-life topics with Biblical wisdom and practical encouragement.

Castle Clash was a blast! 🏰

Our 4th–6th graders spent the afternoon building castles, defending their kingdoms, collecting gold coins, rescuing teammates, and battling it out in the Ministry Center. There was lots of energy and fun as the kids worked together mixing strategy with hustle to destroy the other team’s castle!

A huge thank you to Riley Buchalski and Pastor Caleb for running the event, along with all of our volunteers who helped make everything happen. Pastor Caleb gave an important lesson on living in obedience to God that is especially helpful heading into summer. We’re so thankful for those who invest their time and energy into the lives of our kids!

Join us for a special end-of-the-year Little Explorers event tomorrow, May 15, filled with fun, fellowship, and exciting vehicles for children to explore. We would especially love to welcome our Spanish-speaking friends and families. Spanish translation will be available during our Bible story, so everyone can enjoy and understand the lesson!

“Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12

Single Focus kicked off the summer with a great night together at Topgolf. At this welcome home event, we reflected on the importance of numbering our days and using this season of life wisely. Then we enjoyed good food, hit some golf balls, and had meaningful conversation together.

We’re excited for the summer season and all that it will hold. Summer is such a strategic time in this stage of life, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to invest in college students for Christ.

⚔️🏰 Castle Clash is May 16 from 1–3 PM at the Ministry Center! 4th–6th graders will battle to defend their base and capture the other team’s castle with teamwork, strategy, and tons of fun. There will be a snack provided and a Bible lesson with Pastor Caleb. This a free activity, and kids should eat lunch before coming.
