What if we told you that you could enjoy beautiful summer nights with friends, eat some incredible concessions, hear the Gospel proclaimed, and enjoy some great softball competition?

Welcome to Colonial Co-Ed Softball, starting July 10!

Men and women (9th grade and up) are invited to join us for Friday night softball throughout July, culminating in a tournament on August 1. Cost is just $10.

This league is designed for fellowship, friendly competition, and opportunities to invite unchurched friends to hear about Jesus.

One of the great joys of ministry is investing in the next generation of spiritual leaders. This summer, four ministerial interns have joined our pastoral staff as we seek to advance the work of the Gospel at Colonial.

With Junior Camp, Vacation Bible Time, Mid-Week Ministries, mission trips, outreach opportunities, and a full calendar of church activities, our interns play an important role in helping us move ministry forward. Each intern is given opportunities to preach and teach in a wide variety of settings: adults, children, teens, young adults, and internationals through translation. They minister in church services, Sunday School classes, senior residences, activities, the Good News Mission, Junior Camp, and Vacation Bible Time.

WORLD CUP OUTREACH MINISTRIES

We had a wonderful evening at the Mexico Watch Party on Thursday evening. The weather was perfect for a night of fellowship and gospel outreach. There will be another opportunity on June 27 as we reach out to our African community through the Congo Watch Party. Invite your international friends, neighbors, and coworkers to World Cup events throughout the Summer at the Barnside Patio!

June 27 - Congo Watch Party
Free Congolese food. Doors open at 7:30pm.

July 18-19 - All Nations Weekend
Small side games start Saturday at 1:00pm. There will be a trophy for the winner and a family cookout.

All events include food and family fun while we watch the World Cup at the Barnside Patio. Invitation cards are available in the lobby.

Cool summer evening. A great Lord’s Day. Quality time in community. We’re grateful.

Single Focus had the best time at the Donovans’ after evening service: good food, great conversations, fishing, and a fire to end the night.

These Sunday Night Fellowships are such a sweet way to slow down, grow in community, and make core memories with our church family.

So grateful for this group of young adults and for the Donovans’ generous hospitality. Praise the Lord.

Our first Single Focus Fireside was such a blessing as we close out the summer. Good food around the fire, lots of fun (volleyball and soccer), and meaningful connection.

Even after a few raindrops, we gathered back around the fire to worship: singing, praying, reading Scripture, and sharing testimonies as we reflected on Christ, our liberty, our life, and our Lord.

Please pray for our young adults, that God would stir hearts, strengthen faith, and draw many to find and follow Jesus.

We are so thankful for our summer interns and the blessing they are to our children's ministry! While they're serving in many different ways throughout the summer, we are grateful for the way they invest in the kids here at Colonial.

Their willingness to serve not only makes a difference in the lives of our kids, but also provides a valuable opportunity for them to grow in their faith, leadership, and ministry experience. It is a joy to watch them learn, serve, and use their gifts to point the next generation toward Christ.

Be sure to say hi to our interns and thank them for all they do. We're thankful to have them serving at Colonial this summer!
