THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION: HE IS RISEN.
The word "Resurrection" originated from the Latin word "resurrectio" implying "a rising again". This word has been used since the 13th century to refer to the 'Rising of Jesus from the Dead' only - meaning the power of resurrection and the glory that is attached to it is only attributed to JESUS!
Matthew 28:6 says, "He is not here, for he is risen..." Christ died and was buried, but His death was different – HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND LIVES FOREVER! 🙌
Miracles have happened, people have died and come back, but none has been able to stay alive forever... except Jesus.
In vs. 5 of Mathew 28, two of his followers, Mary Magdalene and one other went to the tomb, but the TOMB WAS EMPTY! 😮 The Angel said to them...
"He's not here, he's risen!"
This has huge implications for God's children. Jesus wasn't where the world thought they had put Him – that is, among the dead. There was a greater switch!
Where is the world putting you or has put you? Are circumstances already making you feel dead? Are you struggling to rise?
Don't worry! JESUS IS RISEN, and the power of His resurrection is real. All you need is cling to Him, and He'll raise you from every dead situation.
His resurrection power still works wonders.
