𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙬 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙨? Yes - a first for our S.I.L.K. Ministry!
Stitching In Love for His Kingdom, with little helping hands at Second Mile Preschool, recently designed and sewed unique quilts to cover the building's windows.
This all-volunteer group is currently working on quilts for hospice and at-home friends and also sewing shorts and dresses for shoe box gifts. Soon they'll begin sewing washable sanitary pads to be distributed in Honduras.
If you're free on Tuesdays from 2pm - 5pm, you're invited to stop in when you can and leave when you have to. Machines, scissors, and other supplies are available, or if you prefer, bring your own to use! We look forward to meeting you in room 107 on any Tuesday of the month you're available!

The ladies of the SILK ministry have made all of the curtains throughout the building, but they outdid themselves with this latest project! ❤️

When you pulled into the parking lot, you used to see creepy, boarded-up windows along the side of the building. They only led to storage rooms, but it definitely wasn’t the most welcoming sight!🪟😱

The SILK ladies came up with the most perfect solution. They had every child in the building stamp a square using animal stencils, then quilted all those precious squares together to create the most joyful window coverings! 🐘🦒🦁

This project was a labor of love, and we can never thank these ladies enough for the time, talent, and heart they pour into making our space so special! 💕

We know visiting a church for the first time can be a little weird or even awkward. Let's make it a little easier with some things to know!

We're in a construction phase and all worship is in the Life Center.
Bulletins are available, you'll always know where we are in the service.
Assisted Listening is available for hearing impaired.
Bible study happens between worship services, we have something for all ages and stages.
We use a check-in system for children. Check-in kiosks are at Entrance #7 and at the KidMin entrance.
A sensory room for babies and children is staffed all morning.
Parking is on 3 sides of the building, as well as across the street at the library.
Hospitality Carts run from 7:50am - noon to help you get from one point to another.
Want to watch before attending in person? The 10:30am Sanctuary Worship is broadcast live on WHNT19.
We will greet you and welcome you whenever you choose to come, we think you belong here!

If the church is open, the Chapel is open!
Come on in, soak in the quiet, and spend time with God.

At FBC, Sunday morning KidMin is more than listening to Bible stories. It's learning Bible truths by engaging senses, actions and creating hands-on experiences to help make the Bible story relevant and memorable.
First Kids works with parents to raise kids to know more about Jesus; we'd be honored to walk alongside you too!

Do you remember The Library Book written by Tom Chapin and Michael Mark? If you don't, we'll refresh your memory through a special rendition of The Library Book Song performed by Aaron Jackson and Micah Walley.

Our church library shelves include a diversity of books. Books to foster your spiritual growth and augment your teaching; picture books and chapter books for children, and autobiographies and fiction novels for all ages. Stop by soon to explore their collections!

PS - Warning: listening to this audio might lend itself to an earworm!
