THE BRIDGE
We had a great time at our first new ‘The Bridge’. The Arts & Crafts table was buzzing as people came and joined in. One lady made a beautiful card for her mother (pictured). We had a great quiz and we had two winning teams and they gratefully posed for the photo. We had some people coming because they received a leaflet through their door and others coming through our ‘Connect with Connect’ meet-ups in Cozee Cafe on Boothferry. Thanks, everyone, who helped launch the new ‘The Bridge’. Looking forward to the next one…

THE BRIDGE – TODAY’S THE DAY!

We’re launching the Brand New ‘The Bridge‘ Drop-In Group today. Don’t bother about the rain – come and enjoy a couple of hours together with old and new friends over a free cuppa! Play board games if you like. Enjoy arts & crafts (you could help us out with this). Buy some raffle tickets and win prizes. Today, we’re having a short Quiz to test your mental ability (don’t worry, it’s VERY easy!)

Come along, or tell a family member about it. We are so looking forward to meeting you – doors open at 11.30am.

💒 Why Gathering With the Church STILL Matters♥️

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
— Hebrews 10:24–25 KJV

Every time you choose church, something special/sacred happens…often quietly, sometimes unseen or unnoticed.

You don’t just walk into a building.
You step into obedience.
You step into community.
You step back into God’s rhythm.

Some Sundays you feel excited.
Some Sundays you feel tired.
Some Sundays you almost don’t go.

But every time you walk through those doors, something deeper than routine is taking place. You are positioning your heart where your soul can breathe again.

When you gather with the body of Christ…

• You choose obedience over emotion. Faith grows strongest when we show up before our feelings do.

• Your heart realigns after a long, noisy week. The Word gently resets what life knocked out of place.

• You’re reminded faith was never meant to be lived alone. Isolation amplifies discouragement, community quiets the lies.

• You sit beside people with testimonies you haven’t heard yet and burdens you can help lift.

• Your presence strengthens someone else’s faith. Someone notices you showed up. Someone feels less alone.

• You encourage your pastor (and his wife) without saying a word. Faithfulness in your place matters more than you think.

• You create space for God to interrupt your week. A lyric. A sermon point. A prayer. That one thing you didn’t know you needed.

• You practice love in real time. Patience in the parking lot. Kindness in conversation. Humility in small moments.

• You witness life happening. Babies crying. Prayers whispered. Hands lifted. Imperfect people worshiping a perfect Savior.

• You rehearse eternity. Voices rising together is a glimpse of heaven.(Something extra special with singing those old hymns together)

• Your heart softens again. And soft hearts are where God plants fresh hope.

Church isn’t about checking a box.
It’s about being shaped, week by week…into who God is calling you to become. Embracing who God created YOU to be and He created us to have fellowship with one another!!🙌🏻

So if you’re tired, unsure, distracted, or unmotivated…
GO anyway.

Not because you’re perfect. (No one is)
But because God meets His people when they gather in His name.

✨ Determine to be planted.
✨ Determine to be present.
✨ Determine to worship Jesus with His people.

Your seat matters more than you know!!🙏🏻

Come along and join us. Your seat is ready❤️

After a long week of work, responsibilities, victories, and struggles, there’s no better place to be than in the presence of God with His people.

Tomorrow is not just another Sunday, it is another opportunity to worship, hear God’s Word, be encouraged, and be reminded that Christ is worthy of our praise.

Don’t just make church an option. Make it a priority.

See you in the Lord’s house tomorrow. 🙏

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.” – Psalm 122:1
