[A]sk JESUS to come into your heart ❤️

This writing ✍️ stems from a question an 11 year old child by the name Kamorrie (in the picture;) asked the Pastor while visiting our Ministerial Class @ Rivers of Living Water Outreach Ministries on yesterday, SONday morning May 17, 2026 with his Mom & Siblings!

The question Kamorrie asked was... "How Do You Get Close to GOD?"
And, our Pastor, Bishop Hollis Hall opened space for the Class to answer, before giving his take on the question!

Different ones gave their answers to Kamorrie; and then; Pastor spoke! And when, he finished with his answer, he asked Kamorrie if he understood and did that answer his question?
Kamorrie said, Yes!

Well, I had been listening to what everyone had spoken to Kamorrie & while doing so; the LORD kept saying to Me to tell Kamorrie about the ABC's of Faith; so I asked Bishop if I could say something to Kamorrie that the LORD had put in my heart while sitting there, (even though I spoke earlier; but this was a final thought to Kamorrie )

So, Bishop gave me space and I said, "Kamorrie just think of it as A-B-C the first 3 letters of the alphabet...You already know & believe GOD exists, because you told us you believe it, because you read it in the Bible; So just [A]SK JESUS to come into your heart,[B]ELIEVE HE came into your heart, and [C]ONFESS to others that HE Saved YOU, and then, read the Book of St John in the Bible to get to know HIM better in HIS humanity."

After I said that, Kamorrie shook his head up & down in a Yes, position; which to me meant that he understood what I had just said.

And then, Bishop closed out the Class with Prayer 🙏🏼

We all went outside & got in our vehicles, and headed to the Colonial Nursing Home to Minister to the Residents! 😁
It was a Great Day!

So, Thank You Kamorrie for your brave question to the Class & I Pray that the LORD will Help You to Continue to Grow as You endeavor to get to Know JESUS even more for Yourself! Amen!🙏🏼

I also Love the picture Your Grandmother sent me of You "Fishing," which immediately came to me that YOU are going to be "A Fisher of Men!" Just like JESUS told his disciples in the Bible!
Praise the LORD! So keep up the good/GOD Work, Son! We Love, ❤️ You! Evang. Dr. Carla

We Pray the LORD BLESS You with many, many, many, many, many more Happy Birthdays to Come, Son!🙌

OUR MOTHERS
Still Standing Strong!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Thank GOD for a lot of the Mothers who are like the ones we had back in the day;
who still know how to Make ends meet no matter what may come their way!

They are Over-comers & still know how to survive;
and, they will do what they have to do for their children & family,; even if, they don’t have a man standing right there by their side!

We have Mothers of today, who are still Trustworthy & Wise; as well as Strong & Hardworking too!

And they don't mind taking time, to lend a helping hand, or even give an Encouraging Word, if they see You struggling & You just need a little help to make it through!

Yes, Mothers back then were REAL & so are a lot of our Mothers of today!

They are still very protective, & if they feel like someone is trying to attack their family; honey, you better watch out, because You will find out real quick that; Mama don't Play!

And, I Thank GOD a lot of that Wisdom & No Nonsense behavior Mothers had back then, has been passed down to a lot of Us Mothers of today;, which is how we are still able to stand & be strong 💪🏼 now; is all I'm trying to
🗣️say!

So, when it comes to Loving & Caring for the Family as well as making a House a Home;
We should be quick to say, "Thank You" to our Mothers every chance we get & don't stop saying it just because we have gotten grown'

We should also tell them how much we Love & Appreciate them more than they'll ever know;
because, we will always be their babies; and, I don't care if we live to be 1,004!

So, here's a Happy Mother’s Day Shout Out to All of Our Mothers; here on Earth and those in Heaven too,
We just want Y'all to know that Y'all will always be "Special " to Us & we Truly Thank GOD for each & every one of You!

LORD, I CAN’T…, but YOU CAN! 🙏🏼

LORD, the longer YOU allow me to Live & Breathe each Day;

I'm learning more & more that...,
I CAN'T, but YOU CAN
Lead & Guide me along this CHRISTian Way!

I CAN'T do "nothing" on my own, but
YOU CAN teach me how to Live!

I CAN'T even Provide for myself, but
YOU CAN teach me how to Give!

I CAN'T Love "unconditionally"
like I see 👀 YOU do, but
YOU CAN show me how to do it; just like YOU!

I CAN'T be a Real Sister, or a True Friend without YOUR HELP each Day, but
YOU CAN continue to be my example as well as be a model for me, I Pray!🙏🏼

So, LORD, I can go on and on talking about
"I CAN'T,"
which YOU & I BOTH know it's True,
but I also can go on and on talking about
"YOU CAN "
which is really all I need to truly know about YOU!

So, even though,
"I CAN'T!"
"YOU CAN!"
and that is
all that matters to ME;
and it's all that I need to know & understand as well as it's all that I
really need to SEE! 👀

“First Things First!”

First Things First!
LORD this begins & ends with following YOU;
especially, if we are to be Blessed & Successful in whatever, we plan to do!

We can’t start off wrong & expect things to turn out right;
if, we continue to walk 👣 on our own in darkness, and refuse to see 👀
the light! ☀️

No, this is not how things work; if we are followers of CHRIST JESUS!
We can’t continue to ignore the LORD and HIS WORD, 📖 by keep doing things our way & that pleases only Us!

So think about what You are doing, or are going to do when the LORD causes Your eyes 👀 to come open to a brand new day;

FIRST and foremost, Give HIM THANKS for waking You up, and then ask HIM to order Your Steps 👣 in HIS WORD 📖 and Guide You in the direction ↔️ HE WANTS You to go to begin with; is all I’m trying to say!

And, Just remember; putting
“First Things First,” BEGINS & ENDS with JESUS, because HE TRULY
IS THE ONLY WAY! Amen!🙏

Below is a Poem I wrote many years ago, around this time,
but the words are still relevant for today, and I just wanted to share it again with You guys, if y’all don’t mind! 😉

"HE GOT UP!"

He Got Up, So we won't have to Stay DOWN!
He Got Up, And has put back on His "Royal Robe and Crown!"
He Got Up with ALL POWER and AUTHORITY!
He Got Up, So we are No Longer BOUND by the enemy!
He Got Up with ALL HEALING in His HANDS!
He Got Up, after Fulfilling God's Holy Plan!
He Got Up, and Reconciled us back to GOD!
He Got Up, So that we are truly FREE to Worship the LORD!
He Got Up, so that we can have New Life!
He Got Up, Proving that He was God's Son, JESUS THE CHRIST!
He Got Up, and Now we can Get Up too!
And, there's No more Excuses for letting Things, or People be a Hindrance to You!
So now that, He Got Up; proving HE IS the LIFE and The RESURRECTION...,
Let us Receive and Accept His FREE GIFT of SALVATION, by turning away from Sin and making Him our True Confession!
Let us Boldly Confess that, He is the Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST!
And, because HE Lives; I Live, since I accepted Him into My Life!

LOVE IS LOVE ? Hmmm…🤔

LOVE IS LOVE, Right?!
Well a lot of people don’t see 👀 it
that way!
But, Before, You comment, first just listen 👂 to what I have to 🗣️say!

So, how is it that when a man
falls in Love❤️ & marry a younger woman; society is ok with that?!

But. when an older woman
falls in Love ❤️ & marry a younger man; society suddenly has a problem with it, & You Guys know that is a fact!

Then some people say, AGE ain’t nothing but a number & You can’t help who You fall in Love with in this day & time!

But, let’s be real; if an older woman falls in Love with a younger man, and even marry him; people will be quick to say she has lost her mind!😲

Well, I personally prefer a man that is my age, or even a little bit older than me,
but I’m not closed minded to having someone a little bit younger, but not lower in years of my age of 64, so that would be having someone around 62 or 63! 🤔

That’s still kind of pushing it as far as I’m concerned though,
because, I believe any age younger than my current age of 64
will feel a little bit weird because I would feel like sometimes just because I’m the oldest I would treat that person like I always knew a lot more! 🤷🏽

But, I wouldn’t want that kind of mindset in our relationship causing it to be strained; due to the age difference & one of us end up leaving & just walking out the door!🚪 😔

Therefore, sometimes I’m up & down about how to really feel on this topic of older men Loving & marrying younger women vs. older women Loving & marrying younger men,
because I just believe the WORD & if GOD put two people together, then I believe it will work out like HE intended it to work until the marriage covenant of the “til death do us part,” comes to an end!🤷🏽
So what do You Guys think?!🤔

“Leftovers!” 🍱

Leftovers,
some people Love them, & we all know that’s true!
But some people refuse to eat any “leftovers” at all, because once they’ve finished eating the first time; they are done with that food & they really don’t care what You do with it, because they’re through!

Now me personally, I don’t mind eating leftover food the next day,
because I was taught & grew up believing that You just don’t throw food away!🤷🏽

But, I want to shift this topic of “leftover food” into something a little different that I want You Guys to see,
And that is how we treat JESUS!
Now, I’m not just talking about how You Guys treat HIM sometimes, but I’m also including ME!

So, to be honest, We sometimes treat Our LORD & Saviour Jesus the CHRIST like HE is some kind of “Leftovers,” that we care nothing about; and just oftentimes throw away!

And, we All know that just isn’t Right, nor is it Nice is what I want to say!

I mean we; a lot of times go to HIM “LAST,” when things we chose to do didn’t work out the way we wanted, or intended it to!

Then we go running to JESUS begging HIM to fix it for us hoping, HE will bail us out again; just like HE patiently & often does for ME; as well as for YOU!

But how many of You know that GOD; like some of You doesn’t like “leftovers” at All
HE wants us to come to HIM “FIRST,” with whatever it is; so that, we won’t stumble, or Fall!

We should really acknowledge the LORD in All of our ways just like the WORD of GOD says for us to do everyday;
And treat HIM BETTER than we do, & not like some “LEFTOVERS,” You really don’t care for yourself; is all I’m really trying to say!
Think about It!💭🤔
Go to GOD, FIRST!

SALT 🧂 & LIGHT 💡

Salt
And
Light
Transforms Lives!🙏

Matthew 5:13-16

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt hath lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is henceforth good for nothing, but to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candle stick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We as The children of The Most High GOD & of HIS ONLY Begotten SON Jesus The CHRIST are called to be SALT & LIGHT, especially in this
world 🌎 that we're living in;
where so many people already don't have much "Hope," in their heart from within!😞

Some feel that they are too far gone and that GOD won't even FORGIVE them,
so they are walking 🚶‍♀️ around in darkness ◼️
& Feeling Lost and Condemned! 😔

But, that's where we come in as the Children of GOD, because we have all been there before,
When, we were once the ones who refused to let Jesus in our hearts ❤️ at first, even when; HE kept patiently knocking on our heart’s door!🚪

And once, we finally let The LORD in; we too had to realize & accept the truth that HE had Already FORGIVEN us for our sins! 🙏
Therefore, we became a New Creature in CHRIST because we were truly,
"Born Again!" 😁

So, Now that we have been TRANSFORMED & have JESUS living on the inside of Us and helping us to LIVE RIGHT,
we can BOLDLY lead others to the LORD from now on; just by being the SALT of the Earth 🌍
as well as being a LIGHT!
Amen 🙏🏻

My 3 Best Friends!

Below 👇are the names of My 3 Best Friends I wanted to introduce to You Guys today! ☺️

They have been with ME for a very long time, but we haven’t always been Friends; though, I must honestly say!🤷🏽

We are “BEST FRIENDS” now, & I want them to become Your “Best Friends” too;
that is why I’m using Carla’s Corner to help me spread the word by Introducing All of them at one time to All of You!😉

They are: TIM, KIM & PAT!

According to Hebrews 4:12-13, TIM always reminds us that we are “naked,” before the LORD & there is NOTHING “hid” from HIM; because HE KNOWS OUR:

[T]houghts
[I]ntents
[M]otives

In other words;
TIM says, GOD knows what You think before You think it;
HE knows what You are going to do before You do it,
& HE Knows “Why” You did, or are doing it! Amen!🙏
So, that’s my “Best Friend TIM,” and over the years; I’ve learned a lot from him! [TIM]

Now KIM, she is that Friend that is going to tell You to not even waste Your time, or energy on Foolishness! So, even when You want to take matters into Your own hands,
or people don’t want to hear the “right,” thing You are trying to say to them, or won’t even try to understand;
well just do what Matthew 10:14 says to do & that is:

[K]eep
[I]t
[M]oving!

😂 KIM don’t play! She’s going to say don’t even worry about that foolishness! And, tell You to Just: “Keep It Moving!” & live “stress-free,” every day! That’s [KIM]

Then, we have my level headed “Best Friend,” name PAT!
She has been through a lot and knows that regardless of what & in spite of everything that goes on in Your “life;” good, or bad; We have to just learn that GOD IS STILL in FULL CONTROL, and because of that, we have to always do what Luke 18:1 says; and that is:

[P]ray 🙏
[A]nd
[T]rust

The LORD to just be GOD & Do what HE DOES by being GOD!
And, while HE’S doing whatever that needs to be done, especially in Your “life” just wait on HIM to do it & not faint while You’re waiting along the way, because it will sometimes get “hard!” Period!🙏 So, she always tells Us to PRAY and just Trust and Believe what the LORD has to SAY!🙏 [PAT]

I honestly Hope that My 3 “Best Friends,” becomes Y’all’s too!
For truly they have been a Blessing & a Help to ME, & I know that they will be the same to All of You!😘
So make them Your “BEST FRIENDS,” today is all I’m trying to say!
And, You’ll be glad You did!😉
