By the power of God, we are progressing!!! We have revised our fundraising campaign, and it is now available. According to our social media analytics, our message has reached over 1,000 viewers. As a member of the faith community, I am blessed to be connected with fellow believers and like-minded individuals who share our passion for God. Ideally, if each of the 1,000 viewers contributed $20, we would have achieved our goal in just two days.

Although this wasn't the case, we are deeply grateful to those who have supported us financially. To those who have sown seeds into our ministry, know that God sees your actions!!!!!! We believe He will reward you abundantly, and we pray that goodness overflows in your life!!! We appreciate your love and support. While we would love to publicly acknowledge your contributions, you've chosen to give discreetly. We honor that and trust that God will reward you openly

In faith, one of our members received a directive from God to ask 20 individuals to give $1,000. This member demonstrated their faith by giving $1,000 themselves, and another member has made a similar pledge. As a small congregation, we are working tirelessly to rebuild after the devastating effects of Covid-19, which forced us to close our doors for five years. We are grateful to be back, and your support is crucial to our sustainability. May God bless you abundantly for your investment in this ministry!! We speak it into existence.

Dear beloved, please read and share the good news. If you love your neighbor as yourself, we humbly ask for your partnership to sustain our ministry. By God's divine grace, Mt. Calvary AME in Houston has faithfully served the community for 75 glorious years, proudly representing our district and fulfilling our sacred obligations to the AME Church.

We're committed to supporting global missions; and dedicated to serving our local community with ministries that address pressing needs, unwavering in our commitment through disasters and extraordinary circumstances. Although our building was closed for 5 years, including 3 1/2 years during the Covid pandemic, as we painstakingly made substantial improvements to our historic facility after back-to-back Texas disasters, we persevered in faith, gathering and adapting, with Zoom worship services that kept us connected.
We've counted on God's unfailing guidance, and He has brought us to this moment.

Now, we turn to you, dear friends, with a heartfelt request. We pray that 1,000 neighbors in Christ will sow a $20 seed into our ministry, though any amount is a precious gift. Details are available on the enclosed flyer. Your investment is sown into fertile ground, as our photos attest. May God's boundless harvest of blessings overflow to all who so sow into this ministry. Hey churches, gather your youth and bring them out this Saturday for our “Receive. Write. Speak.” Free Verse Poetry Workshop! Youth ages 8–18 will receive instruction and inspiration from the Word of God, write scripture-based poetry, and develop confidence in creatively expressing their faith through spoken word and free verse. Come ready to discover, engage, and live the Word in a powerful and meaningful way!

Gathering up them kiddies and let us write beautiful poetry together. After they write their free style musings they will perform them as the Spoken Word; and we will record them for a video compilation to be shown at the Sunday School Convention!
