A Little Honesty About This Week…
From the outside, Texas Worship Project may sometimes look like a pretty big production.
The music. The videos. The releases. The website. The label. The artwork. The technology being built behind it all.
But there’s something I probably don’t say enough:
Right now, this is essentially a one-person operation.
I wear a lot of hats.
I write. I produce. I work on releases and distribution. I create content. I manage the catalog. I work on the websites. And lately, I’ve spent a huge amount of time developing the label management system and infrastructure that I hope will make everything we do better and more sustainable going forward.
And we’re still in the building stage.
Financially, I’m still putting more into Texas Worship Project than it brings back. Every step forward right now is an investment in what I believe this can eventually become.
That means sometimes things take longer than I want them to.
Sometimes a video doesn’t get made.
Sometimes a post gets missed.
Sometimes I spend an entire day fixing something behind the scenes that nobody following the page will ever know existed.
And sometimes, things simply slip through the cracks.
This week was one of those weeks.
So if you’ve noticed that we’ve been a little quieter, I apologize. It isn’t because I’ve lost interest or because things are slowing down.
I’ve actually been building.
There have been growing pains, frustrating days, things that worked, things that broke, and probably more than a few moments where I wondered why I decided to build some of this myself in the first place.
But we’re getting there.
And next week, I plan on bringing the focus back to what brought most of you here in the first place.
New music. New videos. New stories. More Texas Worship Project.
I’m learning how to build this while I’m building it.
I’m learning how to run a label while growing one.
And I’m learning how to balance all of those hats without letting the reason I started this get buried underneath them.
So thank you for being patient when something takes a little longer.

It may look like a big operation sometimes.
But right now, it’s one person, a whole lot of faith, a whole lot of work, and a belief that we’re building something worth sticking around for.
